The black hair one is black and red with a buckle. (Who does that remind you of? ) and the white one has a heart shape. Ohohoho! -rubs chin-

I really do hope Soom sticks to their names and the meaning behind them from Norse mythology. I'd be extremely dissapointed were they to stray from it.

 

Well, according to the monthly doll story thinger, it says that Heliot is in a set with Onyx, and Amber is with Io. P: But I dunno.

It'd be so convenient for me if Heliot and Amber were together, because I could just split with my friend and we'd both get the doll we want (I want a baby Heliot, damnit). But it's not likely to happen. ;_________;

See I'm quite the opposite from you. Seeing how Hati and Skoll are supposed to be a grouped pair together in Norse mythology. Two wolves who chased after the sun and the moon, it is said if one is to swallow either, the world would end.

So if it did turn out to be minis of Bix/Vesuvia, I would be thoroughly displeased with Soom.

But Amber and Io are the Earth ones, if I remember correctly. I wish it weren't so, but it is. :C

Heliot and Onyx is pretty horrible too. >_>;

Alogue . While I am totally into Norse mythology, and Hati and Skoll are great (though Fenrir himself is far better; giant scary Ragnarok-starting Apocalypse wolf = amazing), I believe Soom isn't going to be going by the Norse myth. They've already got their whole thing figured out, so I don't think they're gonna change it just to comply with a myth. Sad. D:

It's just very disgruntling for Soom to go about using commonly known names for dolls that dont even follow their names. Were they to be minis of the two, It'd make more sense for their names to have more in common with the originals.

 

This is true, but we can't have everything in life. :C You should make your own Skoll and Hati. 33 I'd totally adore you if you did.

 

Let's also keep in mind that some people also name their dolls after mythological God's. I've seen it. They are simply names and I guess it just would not bother me that much. -shrug-

 

I can see the black hair one to be Bix (since the original bix also has black fur wig) I do not see Vesuvia in the white hair girl.

Glati and Glot were identical to their bigger counterparts. But the white hair one is nothing like Vesuvia. The only other MD with white fur wig is Heliot.... I am pretty sure they are NOT pairing two boys together.

I want a little crab but at the same time, a pair of wolf boys would be a good idea.

 

If Soom is like me...they probably thought Skoll and Hati were awesome names, and no clue about the mythology behind them~ Soom probably picked them for 'sound' and 'appeal' they have.

While it sucks they don't 'follow' the name, I would find it more disappointing if Soom totally dashed the mini MD plan. If Hati and Skoll turn out to be little wolves, that would put a heavy uncertainty for the rest of the mini MDs.
