Soom MD: May Grit and Syen- Little Guardians!

Arghhh this is always the problem for me with Soom and the way they do their photos.
As they always make the WS one the girl in these situations, I end up automatically more drawn to the girl even though I know I don't want any more WS at this point and much prefer the grey!
With Bygg and Beyla, I much preferred the GS, but was always more drawn to Beyla until I FINALLY got my Bygg home and realized she's a little princess. With Afi and Ai, I was always drawn more to Ai simply because I was drawn to all the PINK. In the end, I ended up with both of them as I said above, but Afi has become one of my favourites as she's such a GIRL in every way possible.

Now with Grit and Syen.. my eyes are going more to Syen just because she's SO GIRLY AND CUTE.
All the pink, the blonde wig, even the faceup (though not to my taste) makes her very strongly the girl.
I'm having trouble looking at Grit as anything but a boy, though I'm sure if gotten home and placed in the right clothing, would look very much like a girl, as always!

Not saying I'd consider NOT getting Grit.. but it's making me want Syen too which I really can't be doing as next month we'll be seeing a female Super Gem who may be fabulous!

 

Argh. Shouldn't have looked! I love the human head versions, they are TOO CUTE. There's no possible way I can swing one without coming into some serious extra money, so I'll just have to watch everybody's baby gargoyles come in and wave a flag from the sidelines.

 

I love some of the new Dollheart clothing too! SO CUTE.
I do have one old Dollheart outfit here which fits fine on the Soom teenie body, so hopefully it should be ok?
Now you've given me an idea too!

I don't have boys. I never planned on having boys.
But for some reason the idea of getting a boy and having the first hetero relationship in my dolly family seems like a possible good idea! I think my Nyx (Bygg OE head) would look ADORABLE with Grit!
Good thing I don't have to decide RIGHT NOW at least!

 

Oh, pics up! I just had to laugh at those claws. They look really sweet and chubby... like those animals made out of balloons ^^.
I'm really amazed of Soom's creativity this time, although these two aren't for me. I just can't get over those noses. But anyway applause to Soom!

One moment I was tempted to get Syen's OE head in a split, but... no, I will just enjoy all of your owner pictures of those 2 little cuties . Congrats on everyone who is getting one. (... sneaks away to wait for the next vampire release of Lati ).

The problem I'm having is that SO MANY of my girls end up dressed in pink.
Yes I do like pink, but I also like other colours too like purple, black, silver and gold.
For some reason though the majority of the dolly clothes that come out that end up being in my style are generally always PINK or occasionally white.
I'd love to dress my Grit in purples and blues and silvers, but the right outfit just hasn't come along yet. I wonder if Soom will release the perfect bi weekly outfit for me? xD

 

The cool thing about white outfits is that you can always dye them

 

omgs! the claws and feet ; ; I found I'm not interested in anything but those and maybe the body, gah I may have to do a split if I can't find one.

 

Safe! I just took a look at the photos and although they're cute, I'm not in love with them.

Soom did do a really good job on the chubby little claw hands which did have my attention for a few moments. The feet are cute as well but I just don't love any of the parts enough to split for them.

So I will also just be enjoying everyone's pictures of them and will continue being happy that I was not caught with these little ones otherwise my bank account would be trying to kill me for sure!

 

Hehe it is! I've been drooling over that outfit since it was released but never got round to getting it.
The fact that it's STILL available makes me want it badly! I also want one of their Tarot series outfits!
It all comes down to the fact that I cannot afford Grit AND Syen AND both those outfits. x_x
And I have PLENTY of WS dolls lying around. Doesn't stop me wanting her OE head though urghhh!

 

After having to make myself calm a little over those fantasy hands/feet, I'm going to have to make myself wait for the marketplace. I want to see what the bottom of those feet looks like and dunno why they didn't show it this time around. And who knows maybe wait on the next teenie X.x; I gotta force myself to not buy impulsively lol by the time they hit the MP I'll have a better feel on it ^^;

 

Suddenly it occured to me.. are Grit's eyes the same as Monko's eyes?
I have Monko's eyes coming in a split and am not sure I'll need TWO pairs of them. I assumed his eyes were sparkly black while Grit's are sparkly grey.. but I'm not sure?

 

I thought that his eyes are Monzo's and that the little girl's eyes are Galena's.

 

Well they are just about as cute as promised! I'm not too fond of the paw hands or the paw legs. I think I will try swapping the animal feets for Winnie Dee's hooves so I have to get the white skinned girl Syen so the legs will match.

And I am sooo super sorry not to have the funds for a spare grey body for my Bygg human head! But at least now there will be more grey tiny bodies floating around! Maybe I can get one eventually.

But these little ones are SO cute! I think Soom did a great job on them and I love the outfits too! I think I'll order the wig and the outfit for sure! But I don't think I'll get the face-up. I was rather unimpressed by my Glot's face-up.

I can't wait to order!! Must scrape up funds!

 

That's what I was thinking too.
But I figured I'd order them anyway as I can always sell them or split them if I decide I don't need 2 pairs of them after seeing them in person again.

I ended up ordering my Grit with absolutely everything except the shoes.
Now to decide if I'm keeping the outfit or splitting it!

 

I have that outfit, the dress part fit fine though I didn't try the bloomers because my guy had hooves on. Buuut I have a ton of Dollheart clothes and they fit really well on my tinies. Only problem I had was with one black little outfit where the neck part was suppose to hold the dress up some and it felt too big on my little girl. She can still wear it though. I wouldn't worry about the Dollheart clothes, that's what I always get for my little ones.

I don't get that "OMG WANT" vibe with them. Trying to stick to dolls I must desperately need and might have another trip coming up, but I really like Grit's face now. Edit: Oops deleted this somehow O.o I do like the outfit, but not the pants much lol.

 

I have to agree the puffy pants are WEIRD. xD
They look fine on Syen as she's meant to be the girl, and they seem to me more like a skirt than pants.
But on Grit, they're coupled with a vest to make the outfit more boyish, but it kind of looks like a boy in a skirt now... which actually warms me up to the outfit considerably xD

 

Definitely getting Grit. He is too cute. And I think I am going to have to look for a gray body in the marketplace for the human head, that one is soo sweet and would fit perfectly as a little girl. lol.
