Soom Mecha Angel Saiph Discussion

And when I asked about white skin:

Does this mean they might have white skin later? Or not? At least they are doing something.
At least if you want Meisa or Vega, next month is you last change!

I would consider a mecha angel meisa in white skin instead of a saiph, but I will be ordering chalco on a layaway soon, so no monies for a Meisa.
Unless she is not sold out at the next FFD period...

But I am definately interested in what they mean with the next style of Mecha Angel... If they would make other lovely white skin females, I think I'll wait for those.
I think it does mean that they will make other mecha angels, but also white skin. From their Gem MD's, they know that white skin is a colour that a lot of people like... And so far they have also got several people asking for white skin mecha angels on their Q&A board now that they are selling normal skin doll. So I think they will definately consider adding other white skin mecha angels in future.

 

I'm wondering whether they're planning to keep WS for specials like a lot of other companies do?

 

In the FFD notice for Januari Soom mentiones that Rex is discontinued. I hope this says nothing about the girls. My Sabik needs a tall girl. All the 60 cm girls I have look like children next to him. .

 

Thank you so much! Oh my, why when something "ain't broke", why are they trying to fix it? I do hope that Soom will not make these lofty, lean, elegant dolls SD sized. Better, in my opinion, usually means worse...Thanks for the head's up, though, very much.

Me too and are they only going to change the girls and why are they changing them-Would like a bigger boy, maybe, but honestly...maybe they'll do right by the dolls, we can but hope.

 

Yes, more muscular for the guys would be good, but it sounds as if they could be planning to shrink them to 70cm or so.

 

Oh no, really? Did you heard something that I didn't? I gotta getta Sabik soon! Shoot, that leaves me and Tess with those nasty AoD guys, who don't thrill me, but maybe a good repaint would work wonders. I'm not letting her go out with just any guy...On the other hand, a shorter Saiph would be easier to dress.

 

Well, I guess I'm just wary what "new style" could mean. Part of the problem is that "Engrish" gets in the way. It could mean anything. Until we know, I figure I'd better stick with the current Saiph. Layaway will take a while so if I like the newer versions of the Mecha Angels, perhaps Soom would let me swap?

 

No, no shorter saiphs please! O_O I really want them to stay at 80cm, or at least 77cm... My UberGoddess really needs to be bigger than my normal Gods and Goddesses (who are 70cm).

I really hope that if they would make new mecha angels, that the females will look more feminine. Ok, Saiph was quite feminine, and Meisa a bit too, but Vega and Deneb look too manly for my taste.

 

Did you get Saiph started? Would they let you swap? I kinda wonder about that...but I do hope that they don't abandon this large and gorgeous gang for the mere seventy inch size. And I wish they'd do the Idealians too...just for grins, as I'd love to see them.

 

Hey, guys, I have a question about the female MA that may or may not be on topic, so please don't hesitate to redirect me. My Meisa, purchased in December, has an internal part stacked on top of the torso joint. I figured, it is meant to make her a better sloucher, without creating a gap between the torso and the chest joints. The problem is that on the very first day it popped out - it wasn't attached at all, just stacked - and now just happily stays within her chest cavity. She's an excellent sloucher, but when I want her to stand stiffly, I need to dig that damn piece out of her chest and push it back in. It's a hassle.

Does anyone else have that happen to their female MAs? It is something to be fixed, or just a design flaw to live with? I apologize if my explanation is unclear, perhaps the little doodle below helps.

Katyok, you can glue it back in, but then she won't be able to do that slouchy thing so well anymore.

You could try sueding the socket of the upper torso just to give it more grip on the lower and see if that will help her stand stable and also slouch when you want that. In this scenario you would not glue the middle piece back in.

I think I will order her next month, just to make sure I get her.

 

I think this might be something you find interesting. Saiph head on Super Gem girl body. Fits reaaaally nice. I think my Saiph will get SG or similar body.

In the pictures the head is my friend's, I suppose it was one of the last white Saiphs.
Her default face up is super pretty!
