It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. 1. Oh my, those shorts look amazing!! Thanks for sharing purpy! Pity about the tops but we can't win em all.

    2. I just posted this in the main thread, but I'm going to repeat it here for reference's sake.

Chrimson Chimera is a store on etsy that sells wa-loli items. They have a partner that does knitted items at their artist alley table, but I can't find this person's etsy. Presumably they can pull from the same stable of dolls for sizing.

But! The important part is that the seamstress half of this pair has a Summer Term Fir. And she's willing to take commissions for her adorable wa-loli outfits for them. She may or may not have that on her etsy, but that's what she told me when I spoke to her at Artist's Alley at ACen. http://www.etsy.com/people/crimsonchimera is her etsy url. crimsonchimera.com is her site, and she has a tumblr as well, at crimsonchimera.tumblr.com.

    3. Oh, and I had forgotten to post this earlier, but the Ashton Drake Delilah clothing fits the Pure (and probably the Muse) Lady body well! Here are a couple of shots of Saga wearing one of the outfits meant for an Ashton Drake doll. The shoes do not fit whatsoever, but the rest looked really cute on her. Stockings were made by me.

    4. Rikka, Thank you very much for the tip. It's very good news ^____^ I'm crazy to find a nice clothes for my pure Fir

    5. ok, i have more pictures and examples of how the Tonner "Evangeline Ghastly" and "Parnilla" outfits fit on Rosette Pure girls.

here is a Pure Delilah w/ Girl body in a Parnilla outfit - the stretchy and clingy outfits like the one I just posted fit the girl body just fine:

and here are two Pure girls in Evangeline Ghastly outfits, the Armeria on the left has a Lady body and the one on the right has a Girl body:

I was absolutely stunned when everything including the wigs fit.

I even managed to make one of the pairs of shoes "fit for show" by using some putty to hold them in place (i ran out of black shoes, i was desperate!). the full outfits w/ wigs tend to go for about $100 more or less on ebay but you can occasionally find bargains. If you like gothic (and as a life-long goth i do!) this is an absolute lifesaver.

the more molded tops and corsets fit Lady body best. finally, dresses that are LONG ENOUGH!

(the tights won't fit of course, but that's not an issue for me - also the chokers are a very tight fit generally manageable)

    6. That's great! I was hoping someone would take the chance rofl. Does that purple gown fit a Lady bust or is there not enough room? And do you have links that show how they fit on Evangeline dolls (and where you got them?) I wonder if they pool on the floor of the doll they're meant for or if her legs are actually that long... I'm apparently terrible at finding measurements for dolls that don't have them on their company site...

    7. All of the outfits fit the Pure Lady body best, includng the Parnilla outfit. there ae occasionally just outfits on the wilde Imagination site, such as the "mourning tears" outfit here: http://www.wildeimagination.com/p-557-mourning-tears-outfit-only.aspx

Many outfits only come on dolls though, so i get them off ebay since people often sell just the outfits.

    8. Wahhhh! I am so glad I stumbled on this thread! My Pure Fir will be here in a few months and I was wondering about dressing her! So far I have wrote down the following things to look into:

      14" Kish
      Tonner Tyler
      Ashton Drake Delilah Clothing
      Corolle Outfits from toy store
      Moxie Teenz

      Thanks everyone!!

Any new Rosette clothing tips? ^^

    9. I have had a lot of great luck with outfits made for Evangeline Ghastly and Ellowyne Wilde. Ellowyne's stuff can be a bit on the big side at times and Evangeline's legs are a lot thinner than a Rosette, so tights, slim fit pants and leggings won't work unless there's a loooooooot of stretch. Plus the home seamstresses seem to be a bit more active for those dolls than for Tyler or Gene. That's just from what I've been able to see from Ebay/Etsy.

    10. Double-posting but there's six months between so whatever.

I've got another pile of feet pics! Yay! I hope these are useful for people when wading through the trickiness that is doll shoes for these gals.

These pics are being taken with the Muse body (except the Fairyland shoes at the end). This is relevant because the Muse ankle cups seem to be smaller than on my Pure girl. Also because my Pure girl's ankles are weak and I didn't want to put undue stress on them. I don't have pics, but the ball of these new heeled feet are not making good contact with my Pure girl's ankle balls. They're just a smidge too small. This makes me a bit nervous, and I would not let her stand unassisted in them.

First pic! Rosette heeled foot with the Resinsoul foot I had been using previously. (Soom in front, RS in back)

I did my best to line them up at toe level. As you can see, it's much shorter in length and in height than the Resinsoul foot. Also the ball is smaller. What this pic does not show and what I did not realize until later is that the ball of these feet are wider than the Resinsoul feet, and also as compared to the flat feet.

Second! Resinsoul foot on Muse leg! This may be why it seemed like more of you weren't using them. Maybe older dolls had bigger ankle joint cups?
Nope, not happening. Not without a lot of sanding anyway. Resinsoul foot in foreground, flat foot in bg.

Third~ Two Soom feet, one flat, one heeled. These shoes may have been made for American Model or Evangeline Ghastly. I'm not sure.
Foreground is heeled foot, background is flat foot. The toes look nicer in the heeled foot, and the heel fits better on the background foot. Overall, too big.

      Fourth! Some more shoe comparisons.
Paul Zhangby for Evangeline Ghastly. Much shorter than the Resinsoul feet in the same shoe. Looks like she's wearing shoes a size too big.

      Fifth! Classic black pumps time.
Paul Zhangby for Evangeline Ghastly again. A little better than the booties. Compared with the Resinsoul feet. With more wiggling after this pic was taken, I got the toes pushed more into the shoe. This made the heel gap again. This particular shoe had a bit more of an issue with the width at the ball of the foot than the others did. When I pick her up (even with fine lace stockings on, like you'll see with the Fairyland shoes later) the weight of the heel usually makes the shoe fall off if I don't get my hand under them.

Sixth! And the best victory shot-in-the-dark I've ever had in this hobby.
These are the heels from the Fairyland Minifee Risse Steampunk full set. On Pure legs. They go on perfectly. You can see a little straining from the width of the feet but they went right on with a minimum of pushing. The ankle strap does a nice job of stabilizing the out-of-size ankle ball and cup I discussed earlier, as well. Though getting her to stand stably on her own in shoes like these throws off the center of gravity a bit. I'm really excited these work so well. I'll be keeping my eye on later Minifee Fullset splits for more shoes for my girls 8D

So those of you that have experience with other fashion dolls, is there one that has feet that are just a smidge smaller than Evangeline Ghastly? I'm sad that the shoe wardrobe I've built up doesn't fit anymore, but I just can't use the Resinsoul feet on these girls anymore. Not without dramatic amounts of sanding.

Let me know if you have any questions! Happy shoe hunting!

    11. I'm in the process of paying off a layaway for a Fir with a muse body and am wondering, do Yo-SD clothes fit Rosettes? Does anyone else have any suggestions for clothing companies not listed?
I'm super pick about clothes and really would rather buy clothes made for BJDS.
