Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Posted this in the SOOM thread, but I'll show her here too. Here is a quick photo of my - still nameless - Olivine. She's off with my Mutti getting some clothes made, but I took a quick pic after I did her faceup. Pardon the photoshopping to hide my desk clutter.

    6. I thought Spinel was one dreamy guy, but Lazule takes the biscuit for me. I think he's perfect. I like his expression which I feel could look different easily with lighting and such. He'll have to be the one that gets away though, alas, just too expensive for me.

      Aside from introducing myself in the intro thread, this is my first post on DOA, so I'm hoping I'm not asking questions that have been asked a thousand times.

      I stumbled across the Soom doll Dia-Rose Queen, and am seriously considering getting her. I like more mature looking dolls who have a less anime look to the face... a more 'human' look I suppose. My question is, do any of you have the Rose Queen? I would LOVE to see 'real' photos!

      I loved Lyn_r's photo of Olivine! She looks so much prettier than she did on the website. What a lovely face. Honestly, I think she needs Lazule as a companion. Their faces 'blend', I think.
      :doh Question! How does she pose? Are you pleased with her articulation?

      If I get Dia, she will be my first BJD, so I'm trying to get all the info I can so that I don't screw up!!!:roll:

    9. Thanks! Glad you like her. I can't wait to get her back from my Mutti's so I can take more pics of her. :P

      She poses well and can touch her face with the double jointed elbows. I did have to hot-glue her hips and torso joint though to get her to stand reliably. Now she poses like a champ. (The hot glue is just to provide "grip" for the resin - not to glue the joints together).

      And as a side note for anyone curious - her body is roughly the same proportions as a large busted Elfdoll girl, so I imagine Elfdoll clothes may fit. Her legs are longer though. This info is based on using patterns (Adams-Harris) that were fitted to Elfdoll girls. They fit with basically no adjustments other than length.

    12. Blank, but Im doing my own face up, or failing what I want I have an artist to back me up. I have a specific look for him planned, nothing radical, just more shadowy looking. I love the default face up though, Soom do great face ups, but this time I want to see Lazule with a different face up.

    13. Has anyone gotten Lazule yet? I need a body for my Alain and was going to order a Super Gem for him to share a body with, but I want to see Lazule in owner photos before deciding between Lazule and Spinel.

    14. I have a Lazule, but at the moment hes being faced up. When I get him back this week I will be posting plenty of photos of him. Hes absolutely gorgeous. My all time favourite sculpt Ive ever owned.
