Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     4. Unfortunately Tanned Godo was a limited and has sold out, although they do mention a first ordering period, so maybe they will produce others in limited runs. I hope so, because I like him too!

    5. If I remember correctly there are only 10 in existance...two, maybe three of which are on this board. I really wanted to get him, but of course I didn't have the money until recently so I got the normal skin Godo instead. They apparently had a great deal of trouble with the resin, so they haven't produced another run yet, but since they started making tanned Mini Gems recently, I assume that they'll do another run eventually...I hope.

    6. I know that rinabell has a SOOM Tanned Godo if you want to see some owner pictures. He is here. I haven't seen him at any of our meets yet, but from the pictures I think he's rather lovely even if he's not my usual taste.

After I posted to this thread last night, I sent a message to Soom's Q&A board asking if there were any plans to release anymore tanned Godos, and I received a reply a few hours later from Clover that it is something they are looking into, but no news as yet, however when they have news it will be put on their notice board :)

    10. I love his skin tone. Though I think his wig is a little bit odd, it doesn't make it less beautiful. I hope they release more of them in the near future!

    11. Personally, it's the wig that first made me notice the Tanned Godo, and I'd probably commission a dreadlock wig if I ever bought one :)

      Counting Rinabell, grael, ctrl-alt-doll, one other person I can't think of the username, and myself,...that accounts for half the existing Tan Godos. ^_^ Wonder where the other 5 are...

    16. Yes, it is considerabley lighter than CP Tan. The CP tan is also a tinge orange by comparision to give you more of an idea. The photos of Tan Godo on the Soom site are a pretty good representation of his true color. ^_^ He is a very nice golden brown. Definitely not good for a body/head swap. ^_^;

    17. I keep looking at him at the Soom site (so tempted) but currently I can't find the tanning godo. He was available for a little while, and since then I can't find him there?

    18. He was released for a week long period at the end of July of 06. Then about two weeks ago (? they took them down already) they released him for another 5 days. I think they do this because the tan resin is really difficult for them. They say that for every 10 of them they make, only 1 is useable because of marbleing and air bubbles. If you keep looking around the marketplace and ebay, I'm sure you will find one. Last year, I saw about 4 of the 10 made at the time pop up at those places. Soom is currently updating the organization of their site, so Tan Godo isn't viewable anywhere right now I think.

      And I highly recommend him! He is very lovely! He was my first, and I still think he is my favorite. ^_^

    19. Are the Tan Godo's from Soom a monthly release or are they gone forever?

      I just saw him and think he's gorgeous,and am willing to save for him if possible.

    20. They'll probably release Tan Godo again, but I don't think they've decided upon a particular month for the next one. He's a great doll, by the way. My bud has one, and their tan is really pretty.
