    1. I actually haven't seen them put up a teaser like this in the last two years I've been 'stalking' them.
      But from what I've seen acknowledged they tend tu put up new stuff shortly after the beginning of a new month. At least this year, with their 10th anniversary thing going on, they've been rather steady with that.

    2. thanks Snowy :) I am current resisting temptation of the IP demonic Claude as this teaser is making me think he would look amazing next to my Shiva (perhaps Nature anthro) to be along side 'Mr New Soloid' (possible industrial/techno anthro) ... so would fit in nicely ;)

      Derlian - steelskin would be amazing, here's hoping :)

    4. They are fantastic! Souldoll never cease to amaze me :D I'm in love with Kowalski- but I can never have him. I would jump all over him if he were a regular doll though; he has a fantastic profile.

    5. Wow these guys are amazing - but 2 grand for a fullset and $1200 for a basic? I can see where the workmanship is coming from but it's way out of my price range now.

    6. Kowalski and Billian amaze me. Their concepts take two popular design elements -- therianthropes and cyborgs -- and merge them successfully. Their detailed body sculpting accurately suggests mechanical components, while their unusual bodies are feats of successful engineering. Their angular headsculpts effectively combine an angular, robotic look with the expressive humanity shown in so much of Souldoll's work.


      I wish I had the space for one of them! ...And the cash.:( I hope they put out female versions too!

    11. I really really like them, they are great size - impact! currently thinking a whether can afford layway ... with current steep house work/bills and holiday coming up .. really bad timing. Would love to see the female SD Souloids :D, Wow, Souldoll are really impressing at the moment, ... they have articulated tails! :D (which are striking recognition ... from a cartoon? it is now bugging me :doh)

      Was wondering if anyone has Souldoll Sandy Brown resin and can advise on what it compares/looks similar to?
      and how bright steel skin is - thinking that the nonblushed body pics with the charcoal steel have been lightened up to show detail and cant get my head around what the resins look like in real life (working how schematics now just in case) ;)

    13. Steel skin is a light-ish grey similar to typical grey skin dolls but sparkly. It's not really bright, but it's definitely lighter than the charcoal in those body images. This is my Shaun Souloid's steel parts (pictured with Souldoll white and Soom bronze):

    14. These boys are awesome! I have no idea how I'll be able to squeeze one into the budget, but I want Kowalski so bad, Ive already thought of a name for him.

      I wish they would show how poseable the tail is. It's so cool that he has jointed hands! Souldoll really went all out with the detailing on these boys!

    15. Okay, settled down and at home now. I can officially say that I'll be ordering one of the big boys! I'm thinking I'll get Kowalski, though I really wish Souldooll would let you buy both heads. I'd also really love the outfit, but for $390 I could get some cool robot masks that would allow me to play robot along with my army of robot/android/cyborg BJDs... ho hum. Yes, $390 is a little hard to justify for an outfit with so many pieces (dem wings, though).

      I can understand people being scared away by that price tag. It's even worse than I thought it was! If it wasn't for my undying love for 'bots, 'bords, and 'droids, and my determination to recruit one of each type of robot BJD out there into my army, I'd be running in the other direction myself.

      I am REALLY hoping that tail is articulated. I am also hoping I can find a spot to put this bad boy when he gets here! I already have to keep my Latidoll Largo in his box because his wings are supermassive. My Loongsoul Yinglong is taking up almost the entire couch downstairs due to his tail and his wings. And now I've gotta figure out where to put KOS-MOS and her gigantic Gatling Gun and this boy with his crazy tail? Aiyeesh!

      Did anyone else notice that the Charcoal Steel Skin seems to be a bit... marbled... in the pictures? It's most noticeable in the blank pics. I'm seeing white streaks throughout the resin. Is it just me?

    16. The steel skin is like this as well. It seems to be a normal occurrence with the sparkly resin (you can see it a little on the hip area of the photo I posted). It can probably be covered up with blushing if you don't like it, or left as it is.

    18. I love SoulDoll sculpts, own four myself but rarely am tempted to purchase full dolls from them
      anymore, plus I have decided not to purchase resin-anything anymore but both the 65cm Souloids
      are so tempting right now! Particularly Kowalski, being a huge MGS/MGR fan (huge, huge Raiden fan)
      I can't help but see some influence of Raising in him, something like a Raiden/Mistral lovechild. Lol!
      Billian is so pretty as well, those cheekbones and lips! Sadly their price is way out of what I would even
      consider spending on a doll, let alone a resin one but maybe if I suddenly lose my sanity I might. DX

    19. Omg! I have been stalking souldoll for a while now... Kowalski and Billion are just so much more amazing then I was expecting! That tail *drools*... Was kind of planing to get Billion just from seeing the teaser pics but that price! I get that they are pretty big and detailed, but how can I justify spending that MUCH and I thought my claude I just bought was expensive...

    20. I have a black-tailed Sugerble Naga (Mirror) and their black resin is very subtly marbled with clearer resin which I rather like,though looks to be less subtle in the unblushed pics, but does give them texture which I rather like too :)

      Many thanks Selidor Steel with WS is gorgeous (so shiny!) the contrast I think with Brown skin with the steel is too much (for me) I think :D
      but still wavering on which skin tone and steel colour cos the charcoal is seems to be easier to blush (brushing simple silvery highlights, rather than contrasting brushed in lows which may be hard to clean out later)
      ... think I have talked myself into getting one (the lawaway def helps) as the detail put in is truly impressive ... possibly Billian (prefer the face, but like the jaw on Kowalski, think Billian's default wig n faceup is putting me off though)

      is any one else having these difficulties after getting past the $$$ shock?? >_>
