You are not alone Janine.. I emailled Davona yesterday.. I TOTALLY forgot she offers layaway. I am also madly searching round the house for anything to sell. I tried to compare him to the ordinary issue Paris... but they just dont come close... I was trying to justify spending THAT much... or even trying to save that many dollars. But I guess the standards dont come in this colour either... So I figured.. even with the face-up.. the standard Paris looks nothing like this boy.... hahaha how easy it is to con myself! And I dont have any dark dolls..... he would be an amazing model for fantasy and ethnic inspired clothing (another "talk myself into NEEDING him") .. so now I wait to see IF Davona can get another one... she thinks she can.

I can't wait to see how he looks without the outfit and he WOULD make a great model for your fashions. I've seen your work....it looks great....I will have to get sometime. Well.. I JUST got an email from Davona.. she can get him for me... I ordered him.. and NOW I feel sick. This is the MOST i have ever spent on a doll!!!! Ahh well.. layaway will make it seem better.. just paying out smaller amounts instead of the one big hit! But I know as soon as she receives him I will pay him off instantly so I can get my hands on him . Geez I will HAVE to get sewing now!
WTG Meredith! :grin: I know what you mean about the his price....think it's the most I've ever spent on a doll (more than my Isao II)....so I've been selling extra to ease the hit....fine tuning my fashion doll and BJD collections. I'm excited about him and have been checking out any pictures on DoA on Paris Souldolls. The layaway option is great but....like you....when he comes in....want him ASAP....:wink:.
