Spiritdoll 1/4 Smart Mini discussion Part 2

@itzreeseybetch My order says preparing too, I ordered Jan 7. I've seen spiritdoll orders come much sooner than estimated, but with the event and all I'm not sure what "preparing" means! Hopefully you're right!

Wow, all these beautiful new snowdrops are getting me super excited! ive been buying clothes for her for a year before I even purchased her...... Am I the only one with this problem? Haha.

 

@delilahfleur Yah that's what I'm banking on. My first order shipped within exactly 3 months. My second order shipped just a little over two. I can't really expect for this one to show up early since it's also tan. Tan dolls usually take longer to produce.

I see people keep wondering about the lack of boys. I ordered mine Pyrus sculpts on December 13th and I'm still waiting! As of Wednesday, the one I got the company face-up for was still with the face-up artist (and had been there at least since the 26th) and therefore I don't think they will get to me until next week or the week after at the earliest. I will be certain to post many pics as soon as they get here

I'm looking to make a specific character and I'm between two options, a Unoa Lusis or Laurel. Both are very similar. u-u

 

Oh, that's my Laurel lol! I've painted both sculpts and they are super cute! I think the big difference is the eyes. Good luck on your new doll!

 

Some time ago I was thinking of creating this character and I had looked at Laurel, but I had not found pictures of her in tan anywhere. And Unoa Alchemy recently launched a lottery for the Unoa Lusis. Unfortunately I did not win and when I went back to look and I found your Laurel, I found her so cute!

It is true, I think the biggest difference is in the nose and eyes, I think Laurel is more cheerful.

I couldn't find any other tan laurels out there when I was thinking of buying her. I'm not sure why because the color and quality of this doll are amazing! Thank you very much for saying she's cute lol! I hope I see some pics if you get a tan laurel as well!

 

That's really interesting... The hands don't look like the normal hands. Maybe its just the angle of the photos.

 

Spirit doll sends you two sets of hands, both of which are super cute. Maybe it's the angle or the light. The hands are so delicate and the tan resin almost had a French resin slight transparency going on. Maybe the light was shining through a bit?

 

Yeah I know. I loved painting mine. Both my girls have both their hands manicured. The light made the hands in your photo look not like the normal open hands. I've noticed that the SP tan looks almost fleshlike and I love it. It'll be different from my other dolls. And from the photos I've seen it looks like SP doesn't have seamlines which is awesome
