but here she is dressed and out of box: (shes just missing her proper wig, and those pink/white striped socks I just ordered from you.) and then obviously a face up.

 

She's precious!!! ( though I obviously have a bias xD ) Does she have a name yet?

 

No name yet, probably once her face up is done.

They really weren't kidding about the wait. I feel like a kid at Christmas. But a Christmas that is oh so far away. I have a much farther way to go than you guys and I am so antsy. All of your Snowdrops are so pretty.

I'm back! I haven't been able to do anything with my snowdrop for so long, I've been so busy. But, I was finally able to do her faceup yesterday. I think it turned out somewhat the way I wanted it. Faceups are so stressful! That is why she will be staying like this for a while, lol. I've still got to make her wig (she will be a blonde with a fringe) and buy her eyes once Mako opens up again (they will be green). I like the new hands personally, they are still very elegant. Here she is:

She is currently wearing 12 mm Mako eyes. I'm planning on getting 12 and 14 to check out which I like better. Do you guys have a preference? I find that some 14mm I've tried on her have too big an iris so far. However, I received 14mm from the company, and they looked nice because the iris wasn't too big..

It's nice to see all the new (and old!) snowdrops! I can't wait to finish mine and show her to you guys ^^

14mm makos are too big for a snowdrop. They take up the entire eyewell.

Random question about the spirit doll ordering. How do you know when they officially started making your doll? I know under your account, it shows your order as confirmed, preparing or shipping, but I assumed that preparing meant it was being prepared to send out. Or does preparing actually mean they are starting to work on your doll? I didn't think it did because another place on the site says they start to cast your doll about 2-3 days after a confirmed payment so you can't cancel or make changes after that point. So is there any way of knowing besides emailing them? Or am I just reading all of it wrong?

Bahhjhhjhh...I'm so antsy. I still have at least another month too in my wait for my Snowdrop.

No news for mine just yet but it's tan so it will probably be a few more weeks yet.

Preparing is when they're actually making. Confirmed means your order was accepted.

 

So is it normal for it to be listed as confirmed for quite some time before it goes into preparing because of the long wait times? Or should it only say confirmed for a couple days and then say preparing?

 

Mine was listed as confirmed for a long time for all three dolls. You gotta think that they can only cast as many dolls as they have molds for. So if all the molds are full then yours is still confirmed and not processing just yet
