I *really* want that 31cm body and know I'm going to have a tough time choosing between Chibi!Ren and Chibi!Moe, although the more pics of Tsubaki I see, the more I like her... Too many lovelies, really.

Congratulations on your Moe! She's such a cute sculpt. My favorite sculpt is Ren, which Ranka showed as the new chibi head on the blog, so now I know I'll have to get her too. :P These girls are going to drain my wallet!

Hello, everyone! I just noticed that SQ Lab put up pictures of a Chibi Ren on their new 31cm body on their blog, and it's so cute! I was wondering if there's been notice of when the new body and head might be released? I'm really excited, but an idea of a release date and price would help me rearrange my doll plans. Your Tsubaki is so adorable and haughty, AreeElf! I'm glad that the new heads have a hook and magnet system. The interior looks so much more finished than some photos I've seen of the larger heads. I really look forward to seeing everyone else's dolls, too!

Congratulations on your new arrival, LordNoir! I love all the bodies in your first picture. Did you order the SG and the KSG at the same time? Has anyone looked at the SQ Lab blog? One of the posts has pictures of a Yo-SD Megu head on the new 31cm body, and I think it adds a bit of elegance to the sculpt, whereas on the Volks Yo body it looks very baby cute.
The SG body in the picture is actually from one of my personal dolls, and the KSG is from the large initial stock order I made with SQ Lab. Being a dealer sucks sometimes, because you see all these cute dolls and you want to keep them all. :/ edit: And I just noticed Slendy made his way into the background of one of the pictures. lol.
Oh yay! Congrats Lordnoir! And thanks for mentioning that Alice Collection clothes fit! I had been looking around for clothes yesterday and I couldn't find any that I like. So from the day they shipped her how many days did you wait for her?
Congrats on the arrival Lord Noir. THanks for showing the body comparison pics. I finally decided on a name and look for my Tsubaki. Her name is Shirahime. I really like the double jointed elbows She's a really good poser. She's standing on this picture while holding her naughty pet Goyle xinwang: Yup the 31cm body looks more like a junior high kid. Makes one want to grow one's yosd. Rio99: 9/22/12 paid for order 11/16/12 order sent out 11/19/12 first delivery attempt picked it up next day. There was at least two week delay from when he said he would be shipping my order when I email followed-up. I did order with faceup and some optional parts so maybe that was the delay. Either way I think the doll is well worth the wait. She poses really well and is well balanced. From the day I ordered, I had to wait about 8 weeks. However, I don't consider this a normal wait time since I've actually only received half of my order as of today. I imagine other orders will likely receive their dolls much quicker. Aw! Shirahime is so cute! ^^ I see she has a little Spark the dragon to keep her company too. Also, here's another photo. I couldn't stop myself from giving a quick face-up last night. These KSG girls are just too cute and charming for their own good! I'll have some more pics a little later, resin comparisons and such.
LordNoir:I think your girl looks so cute holding her sheep and look forward to resin comparison pics. Did you order normal or real skin. Shirahime is in real skin. I had some normal skin hand parts I got from Y!J awhile back which were too pink for my Volks kids.but I used them anyway as the hands were just too cute and add extra emotion to the pictures.
The Chibi Moe pictured in the previous posts is normal resin. The normal resin also doesn't match Volks DD normal(as the site claims.) SQ Normal has a bit of a rosey-purple undertone to it, and looks pink in comparison. However, in my pictures, for some reason the SQ normal looks yellow and the DD normal looks more pink. Here's a comparison as promised. The doll in the center is an SQ Lab Chibi Moe in White resin. Others are as follows: 1. Obitsu White Vinyl 2. Doll Chateau White 3. Volks Dollfie Dream Normal 4. SQ Lab Normal I'll do another comparison when I can get my hands on some more pieces to compare.
I really love how well this body poses. Does the larger SQ Lab body also pose well, Lord Noir? It's still cool that you get to see all these dolls in person. Thanks for all the lovely images, AreeElf and LordNoir.
Yep! SQ Lab's SG and KSG bodies are very well engineered and make swapping optional parts quite easy ( there's slots in the wrists to rest the small s-hooks so you can change out the hands more easily.) They're in the same league as my Dollfie Dreams when it comes to posability, pose holding, standing and part swapping. I'll be very eager to check out the 31cm body for myself.
It's great to hear that the hands are easy to swap out, since sometimes it's easier to take off the hands when dressing dolls. I hope the 31cm body poses as well as the other two SQ Lab bodies; also, cute option hands would be great!
SQ Lab already has 10 different Yo-SD sized option hands available, with the pictures of the SG sized ones released even though the hands themselves aren't yet available to order. According to the site, the Yo-SD hands can be used with the KSG body even though they were originally made for Volks Yo-SD. I ordered a few pairs, so once those come in I'll try them and see how well they fit.
My Moe is stuck on JFK. >_< so near yet so far... So anyways, I am trying to look around for clothes and I can't find measurements on sq-lab's site. Is the volks YOSD body the same measurements as the KSG body?
