1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

SQ-Labs Ko School Girl (KSG) Discussion

Sep 27, 2012

    1. You're right. I emailed and they sent me a body blushing link of the 53cm body saying it was an example.

EDIT: You can have hand blushing only done for $20.

    2. Ive ordered 2 KSG-L dolls from SQ -lad and they shold be shipping soon, I will try to post some photos when they come in.

    3. Ooh! Congrats! I placed my order a couple of days ago, but they seem to have lost it :(

    4. I didn't see this posted yet, I hope I didn't miss it.
Another KSG size body is up at SQ Lab, the KSG-Ac. Same size as the standard KSG but with some extra joints.
The additional movement looks nice for posing I think.
All these new bodies but still no new heads though :<

    5. omg headache. I emailed my order 24/03, and I emailed them back a day or so later asking if they had received it since I heard no reply, and apparently they lost it, but they emailed me back 3 days ago (27/03) saying they received my order and I paid by Paypal, then they emailed back the same day saying they received my payment. I then got an email yesterday (28/03) saying they never received my order or payment. I noticed that the wording was different in the two separate email correspondences. Is this normal, or am I just caught in the middle of non-communication between two people who work for SQ Lab?

    6. have you emailed them back ? it do not sound normal, have you the paypal invoice as proof

    7. Anistasiya That doesnt sound right... I'd forward them a copy of your paypal invoice and 'sent' order form... >,< I hope they sort it all out for you!
Waitaminute... Oh carp. Is that a chibi-hibiki on the new body? Yes. Yes it is. Oh carp.

    8. That sounds odd o.o the only problem with them so far with me is I emailed them last week sometime around Wednesday (the 20th) and asked if I could get an update on when it would be shipped as I placed my pre-order on the 4th of this month. They said they would ship it early next week. I emailed again on Wednesday asking for another update (the 27th) and got no reply and still haven't. I have heard that this is common with SQ-lab though so I am continuing to be patient.

    9. I think everything is fine now...

Sometimes the emails I get have limited english, and other email's I get are quite fluent in english. Usually the email replies I get are the limited english ones, but the emails that say there are issues are in fluent english, so I think there are two reps that probably haven't communicated with each other. The limited english one replies to me the most and they confirmed my payment and order the first time. They also replied to the email I had sent (in reply to the other rep that asked me for my PayPal address and order saying they they hadn't received it) saying that everything was "ok" (29/Mar). I haven't heard from the fluent english rep yet, so hopefully that means it's fine now :sweat

Out of curiosity, does the "15 days" processing time mean business days or does it include weekends? Either way, it doesn't matter, that's still pretty fast compared to most wait times.

Have you heard back from them yet, Lumirei?

    10. glad you got yours all sorted out Anistasiya. I emailed them again on Sunday and they replied back saying they will ship it this week but I have a feeling it wont be happening this week. I don't mind it taking time for her to ship it I would just like an honest answer ^^;

    11. Hi, sorry to come in and ask all these questions...but I'm getting a Chibi Tsubaki for my birthday (yay!) and I'd like to have eyes ready for when it gets here. I read somewhere here that 14s would be ok but I can't find anime eyes anywhere (where I'd normally look) that small D:
Does anyone know a good place to look? Or would larger eyes be ok? I think the smallest I found were 18s.

They can wear normal YO sized clothes, right? I already bought some XD so here's hoping!! Other than Volks, what YO sized body might be a good size-match (in case I wanted to make some clothes while I wait...Or have someone else do it since I don't sew)?

Thank you! Again, sorry for all the q's.

    12. Yes they can wear Yo-SD sized outfits :) I think I heard that 14-16mm were the best size for the Chibi heads. I bought mine on ebay from this seller. There are also a few anime style eyes on junky spot in 16mm. Lastly I think Ersa Flora sells some animetic in those sizes aswell :) I can't tell you 100% what size fits best because my doll hasn't been shipped yet but I did some asking around :)

      However I don't know much about Yo-SD sized bodies because I ordered the KSG-L body with my Chibi head and I am new to resins ^^;

    13. SQLab have anime eyes on their website. I asked which were featured in the pictures and they said they were 16mm EE-06 and EG-05. The eyes on the website come in most sizes, you just have to indicate which size you want.

I ordered the KSG-L body with Moe head, so I think some YOSD clothes will look short on her  I have a Peakswood Hucky which is YOSD sized but all his clothes are from Dollheart. I just love that style, but they are very expensive. You can have a look at Soom, Luts and I think Fairyland. They all have dolls around the 26cm range. I think most bodies of that size don't differ in measurements much.

    14. I got my body today and while it is super cute the size just doesn't work for me after spending so much time with my chibi unoa and msd. The height is great but i wish she was bigger and less slim... she is actually slimmer then a lot of my yo sd. I love her jointing system and shape overall but she is just out of sync with my crew. If only the same ratio was msd I would be over the moon right now.

    15. hey : D i have a ren on order, how long is the usual wait time for them?

    16. You can also order anime-styled eyes of any size from Ersa Flora. From my experience, 14mm-16mm eyes work best in the SQ Lab chibi heads.

I for one am uber excited about chibi Hibiki. I couldn't help but order her - she's just such a cute sculpt. :)

    17. I`m saving up for little Tsubaki:aheartbea Originally I was going to go for a KDF Mango at first. But I have never owned any anime style bjd before. And I feel like starting with the smaller sized Tsubaki first.

I have never been interested in anime dolls before. Just got into it after the release og Luts`s Mango and Coco. I`m planning on having little Tsubaki become the little sister of KDF Mango. Starting with Tsubaki but am very exited to have both together in the future :)

A little question about SQ-Lab. Are the dolls vinyl or resin?

Sorry, I know nothing about SQ-Lab yet :sweat

    18. They're resin. Very nice resin...I just got my Tsubaki yesterday! "He's" my first anime bjd too. I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty the white skin is.

    19. That`s good hehe. I prefer resin. Will you be spamming your Tsubaki soon?

Any Tsubaki spam would be great to. It`ll help me through the wait of saving up for mine <3

Is it possible to order Tsubaki in normal skin?

    20. Here's mine - pardon the fast, boring pic....I can't get over how cute he is!!!

WS, faceup was default, I redid the eyebrows >.< and made him the very very fuzzy wig.
I played around with the double joints yesterday! Which is funny to me because I didn't know they had any^^'
One of the knee joints was fused, but with a little wiggling came apart and works fine now.

I'm glad I waited on eyes, these came with and are 14s. They're huge!! I've got some glass eyes coming in he can wear for now until I find a pair I like.

I just realized I can see every camera spot in this photo. :P
