  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I should be getting my first doll in about a week or so. It would be nice to have two but it took a heck of a lot of begging to convince my parents to buy me the one I will soon have.
      I'd get two if I were willing to get a job and pay for it... I'm too lazy to go through all that trouble to get my second one. For now one is enough but I doubt it'll stay that way as I get older...

    2. I only have one 1/3 scale but I do have 2 1/6 scale dolls. I think I'm going to get at least 2 more 1/3 though

    4. Hmm, I only have one, but I tend to play with my sister's dolls...

      Although, I do want more dolls in the future... A lot more dolls if my bookmarks have any say in this. :sweat

      Ah well. I'm fine with just my doll, because I can just borrow my sister's dolls if I need them for a photostory or something... Then again, summer is coming and that means I'm going to an anime convention... OTL;; maybe my doll family will grow...

    5. I only have one BJD & I don't plan on buying any others. I waited a long time before buying the one I have, and I knew before I ever bought her that I would only want one.

      Sure, there are a lot of molds/dolls out there that I like, but not enough to buy. I'm fine with what I have. :)

    7. Right now I have Takaya (DZ Yuu). I have only had him since May and my plan was to keep it at one and spoil him rotten. Unfortunately my plans never do quite work out the way I want. I'm already saving for a second, with future plans for a third.

    9. I'm currently doll-less, but I do intend to get only one. But the fact that that's what most people say, and that it disappears so quickly, is making me doubt whether it'll happen... o.o

      However, way back when I was a kid I noticed that when I had more than one doll, I was less interested in all of them, I figured out that I did best devoting all my attention to just one, it's kinda like specializing. If I can get my sis or my friends into this hobby then my girl will have some others to play with and take photos with, but I find it hard to imagine actually being the owner of more than one. Who knows though, once she's in my hands all that could go down the drain. :lol:

    10. I currently only have and can afford one doll. She's the perfect doll for the character I created. I got her a few months ago, and I'm still in love with her. The only thing I need to do is try to find her some more outfits, but finding the money for that is a little tough, especially being a full-time college student. :sweat

      When I first bought her, I planned to only have one for a few years until I get out of school and settle down. So pretty much I already know that I will not own just one doll. I can't see myself having just one. I'm too crazy personally and for these dolls for that. :)

    11. Successfully own 4 and counting! Luckily I don't have much to spend money on at the moment so I can afford to fuel my collection. Between saving for my next semester for college and buying the essentials, I can put aside a little for dolls every week. I don't think I could ever own only one. My doll, funny to think this, but he would be lonely if he didn't have friends.

    13. I'm beginning to think that I may end up with only one doll. The only other doll that's really grabbed me is a limited... and I don't think I'll ever be able to obtain it. I do fancy the idea of buying oodles of accessories for a single doll. =))

      But then again, the idea of having a family is also appealing. P: I'll just have to wait and see. xD

    14. I plan on only having one for a long time however if I ever were to go for another I would get two more to make a family. (a boy for my girl and a tiny for their adopted child...) <--- the more I think about this the more likely it is to become reality... :sweat

    15. I actually thought I'd be one of the few that could only buy one (since they're so much money), but after I got Mitsu I was too hooked to have just one. :doh before I knew it, Aidan and Cherry came.. then Pandora.. and now Jaden is almost here.

    16. Actually yes. I am very happy to at least own one now :) He isn't exactly one of my dream dolls but I am glad to have him. And when I do get money for more, I will use it to get my dream dolls so that my boy doll won't be alone :)

      I don't even have a whole doll yet but I have 3 floating heads! I swore I'd only buy one doll, but then before I saved up for my El, I fell in love with miho and then I saw a minimee I always wanted and well it's a downhill slope from there... now I just have to find bodies! *sigh* But I tried!

    18. I kind of enjoy teaching myself patience and such like, and so I want to wait until my first girl is "finished" before even thinking about getting any more. I dunno how long it will take, could be years! I also want to invest in a sewing machine and learn how to sew and such, before any more. So technically I'll only have one doll ... for quite a while :)

      I don't really mind though, she was my dream doll and I'm so happy with her. And besides, the stress of going through the ordering process and waiting process and then finally getting her was a bit too much for me! I'm not sure I want to go through that again for quite a while! :lol:

    19. ok, considering that at the moment I don't have any dolls :...( , the thing is a bit speculative.

      I think that the number of dolls is determined by the purpose. If you want to do stories, you need many 'characters' so you need many dolls. If your purpose is to collect them, you also need many dolls. If your purpose is to love and care for a single one, or just 2 or 3, well, the answer is simple :)

      In my case, for the start, I want a single doll! Maybe in the future I could get 1 or 2 more, but I don't want to start a collection, I want a dream doll, with many clothes, jewels, shoes and so on! :fangirl:
