Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. when I bought my first boy I told my friend I would probably only get one doll, however I based that assumption on my lack of funds (as they are financially crippling. )
      but after getting one I fell in love and knew one day I'd want another. Alas, that "another" was the twin of my first boy.
      "I'd much rather spoil the one I have to bits with tons of clothes, jewelry, and other things."
      well I spoil them to bits, and while they have very different tastes I can mix and match their stuff to the point where both of them have a wide variety of stuff.
      However, my OD tae was completely spontaneous. I saw him on the marketplace, and fell in love with his proportions and size. Then I proceeded to buy him. my two look so young comparatively...I wanted a mature face around XD

    4. When I had none I hoped for one. The one was fine for a year or two because that was all that I could afford. I now have four but it isn't about how many I have but whether I fully enjoy each one. Of course now I want more to add to the enjoyment. I don't know how I could stay limited to one or even four. The dolls are addicting in the extreme.

    5. I don't think I could say I will only ever own one, but I also cannot say how many exactly I want to own as well. It just depends on if I really like one or not, and if I do I'll just save and buy it so yeah. Who knows how many! But first things first is getting numero uno! ^_^

    6. I have only one guy and even if I wish to get 2 more guys (like number 3. Mmm.. Three.... *droll*) but I'm happy with my one guy only :)
      Mostly because one guy would cost me almost the same as brand new computer, language course for one year or 2 weeks at the seaside! Well, I have one of those "cheaper" - bobobie- because I feel it's weird to pay so much ^^"

    7. I started out collecting "mainstream" dolls, primarily Madame Alexander Cissy. I liked to sew for her and do photoshoots. When I discovered BJDs, I fell in love with them, but gasped at the prices for a bald, nude doll. :o

      After several years, I finally bought one, Happy Doll Judy. I was sure she would be my one and only. Well, it's been 2 years and those little resin darlin's have been regularly sneaking into my house (really honey!). I now own <gasp> 16 BJDs of various sizes, with one on the way (Apple Yoi from SecretDoll) and several more "banned" dolls. I find I don't even blink at the prices anymore, thanks to layaway. :lol:

      My interest in mainstream dolls has waned almost to nothing, but every now and then a "killer" Cissy comes along. She plays pretty well with resin gang.

    8. That was my mindset when I got Emma. And I was successful at satisfying myself with lusting and photo browsing until...well...only 4 months into owning her.
      XD She wants a boyfriend, and I want a Sergei DIM...it will "work out good for the boths of 'em"

    9. It was my goal to purchase one and stop for a good time (think years). I thought one would be enough... That though only lasted a good 24 hours after Tally (my doll) arrived and I realized how much fun it was photographing her... Changing her outfits... Fooling with her wigs... Now, though I still only have Tally, I'm making plans for a doll that I hope to have by next year...

    10. What with a large family of Blythes already, and other dolls too, I was never going to be a one-bjd girl. I'm currently at 6, with 2 more on the way. After that, I'm planning on adding one more (a tan Narae)... that'll make 9. I think I'll be quite content with that number - stopping just before the double figures!

      I have a lot of creativity, and I find that I can express that more when I have a larger variety of dollies to work with. :)

    14. At first I thought I would be happy with just one.
      That lasted for, oh, four months. And now I have 3 on the way XD
      I love my one boy to death, and spoil him, but he just looks SO lonely.
      And the story has grown so I HAVE to get his best friend and brother!
      Luckily, though, I feel I'll be content with my little bunch of four for a while.
      But I KNOW I'll get more. Someday. :3

    15. I don't plan on settling for just one. At first I wanted just one boy and one girl of each of the two "large" sizes (45cm and up) but with no such limit on tinies. But now I've fallen for MNF Shushu, too, and as much as I try to fend it off I even think I'm coming up with a story for them all. (Or at least, three 45cm dolls.) I don't know if I'll ever be able to attain them, but I know I want them, and I have my dreams.

      I'm not patient enough to save up for two dolls at once, though, so I know there will be a point where I have just one BJD while I save money for the next.

      I don't plan on getting more (well, maybe at least one more dream doll... drools over the dollshes).

      But I think that would be it for me. I'm more of a "find the perfect" kind of person.

    17. I have only one at this time and am happy with her, someday it would be fun to add two or three more but with the way bills are going i do not see it as an option any time soon. But i am very happy with the one i have! so, so far i am successful in owning only one! hehe! though i keep drooling over those gorgeous Soom Sards! - a girl can dream right!?

    18. I only planned on having one doll, just due to funds and the time it takes to customize.
      My first doll is on the way, and just my luck that it's durring a free head event.
      I can't have a head floating around without a body to go with it! I hope I can stop at two and call it good though. I'll probably end up with 3 as the first 2 are MSD and my top dream doll is The Moon from Luts. :sweatWhat have I gotten myself into? *At least it's worth it*

    20. I just ordered my first and I am actually fearing that I'll eventually sell him. I'm kind of famous for wanting things extremely badly and then never using them (mostly because I'm really busy, so I don't even get the chance to enjoy the things).

      But on the other hand, I do want to give him friends...@__@;;

      I'll figure out how I feel when he arrives and post again XD
