Successfully Own Only One?

I own only one doll (my puki pukisha) and while I have been trying for months to find another doll to suit a character, I think I'm just, for now, going to own only her. I take care of her like she's my baby, and I've gotten myself back into crafts because of her. I don't want her to share attention with a bigger doll, because I don't think that would be fair to her.

So yes, I can say I successfully own only one.

 

teehee. Im so guilty. I wanted two doll. But I could only afford one. Then she took too long shipping. So I got her a friend. And she came faster than the other. So when she was with me alone I realised how happy I was two be getting her friend in soon. I could take it leaving every day and seeing her just sitting on her bed. All alone. Now the two of them are together and Im so glad. Although their personalities collide alot. XP I couldnt take having just one. Not for the sake of having lots of dolls but for them to have friends and lover you know? idk. Thats my opinion.

 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Just one?! I swore until I was blue to my husband that I'd only have one. What happens? He deploys, now I have two SDs, three pukis, and three more planned. And I still haven't told him about any except the first.

I originally thought "well, I'll rescue this poor abused SD here, clean her up, and rehome her" ...which I'm still planning to do, once her new hands get in... and then "wouldn't it be awesome if my doll had a bjd of her own?" ...which was the original intention of the first puki, but he was having none of it. And it avalanched from there. Oy.

 

Right now I've got one doll on the way. But I've got plans for many more. xD

 

I wanted only ONE, I bought only ONE....................... my lovely DOT boy who i wanted for soooo long and who I adore ^_^

now I want loads........I swear this is snowballing. I have my eye on a Luts Delf Shine and a Souldoll Osu - afterall Xander needs company (or at least thats what i am telling myself) lol

For now Ill have to stick to one doll as he costs me a small fortune as it is but I can see myself having more.

 

Of course I can stick to only one doll!!
Only one doll of each sex in each size........... (erm, elves don't count !! )

 

I have only one BJD. But has matched many faces for her. （u-noa）
Therefore thought that was already enough 。

I started out only wanting 1 and I wanted it to be a female vampire. Then, a friend of mine showed me Euclase, and suddenly I knew he was the one for me. I have always loved the ancient Egyptian culture, and Euclase' garb was styled after that. My fiancee was reluctant to let me get Euclase, so I made the rush decision to put him on layaway. I am now currently making payments on him to try and bring him home before Christmas.

And unfortunately, now Soom's released Vesuvia, and boy do I want her badly! I fell in love with her just from her sillouhette, and now that I've seen what she fully looks like, I must now have her too. *droops head and sheepishly speaks* I want her so much that I went to my fiancee and told him I want another one....

He wasnt to happy.

 

I wanted one, a Bluefairy Louis that I had my eyes on for a year before I bought him. I've only had him since late September and I already want to get him a companion. I'm going to spoil my boy for the time being though, and give myself more time to think about which mold is the right one (I have my eye on a BF Kyle)

 

There's an update for me. I still only own one doll- and slowly I get used to it.
There might come another one but right now, I'm happy with owning only Andromeda.

I visit this thread a lot and think:
Of course I'll always own just one.
It's simply too expensive to get another.
Once you get another, you won't stop.

I failed. Really failed. Failed tremendously. And at this time, I am currently waiting for number twelve come in.

 

I knew when I started that I'd never be able to own only one. XD
I only have one, but I'm saving for a Suntan Asha. After that I'm getting a Little Fee. After that I think I'll get Sanyu a new body since Fairyland released the awesome new body a little while ago...

So, yeah... I know for a fact that I'm not going to be able to keep it 'just Sanyu'.

I think it'll be more fun playing with more than one doll, there's more interaction. Also, Sanyu has such a set style that I'll need another doll with a different style so I can make a larger variety of clothes and stuff.

 

Ha. I own one, a small Yo. The reason I only own one though is because I am new to ABJD collecting. I have many other dolls in my future.

I am not sure it is possible to own JUST ONE.

I think I want three. I want two that are 1/6 size and one that's bigger. Right now, though, I have one coming. Maybe, once I can access the Marketplace, I will start looking at a friend for her, or a big sister. Second hand seems a good option for me.

 

I'm planning for just one, I don't think I can afford anymore.

 

I think have successfully owned one. It's been almost a whole year since he arrived on my doorstep and I really, really don't want another one at all. He's perfect to me, everything I wanted and more when I set out looking for my dream doll. X3

I spoil him as much as I can. I'm not that well off, so I'm so glad I've only found one doll I could click with. XD Even if I was richer, I wouldn't want to buy another one. ^^

Nope ^^;; I wanted to keep it at one... but I ended up getting another and selling my first so I could upgrade him to SD. I love them both very much, but sometimes I miss having only one doll. Spoiling and loving them to your hearts content...not worrying that one doll has more clothes than the other and that one gets more spotlight time @_@;;
