  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I have two, but would have been find with just one.
      When I bought my first one, I got a free head with it, and it seemed a shame to let it go to waste...

    2. Once I really got to studying the beauty and potential of these dolls I went from wanting just a handful to hoping for two handfuls (so to speak).
      I knew that I wanted a resin Family, that is, I wanted two main dolls (the couple) and I wanted a few 'kids' for them.

      So, there is the main couple: two SDs.
      The oldest son: one SD
      The mother: two MSDs (literally a split personality)
      The daughter: one MSD
      The younger son: one MSD
      Johnny Depp: one SD

      Total SDs: 4
      Total MSDs: 4

      Total family wanted to obtain: 7 + one friend that is Johnny Depp 1 = 8

      Do I hope to end up with more than 8? NO! Did I hope to have as many as 8? NO! Will I eventually have 8? If I ever get back to work YES! Will I eventually have more than 8? If I ever get back to work PROBABLY!

      Every one of them is set to have different personalities and different styles.

    3. I've probably already replied to this a while ago...

      I never intended to have only one. I know myself better than that. I figured I'd have two MSDs. What I wasn't ready for was the tinies. I didn't even really know about them at the time! I got my MSD, BF Sarang... And then ended up with three pukis (two were Xmas gifts, so that's not so bad) and a littlefee. I love them a lot, but MSD is the size I think I should stick to in the future, although I do want to get a LF Ante...

      Oh, I digress. No, I have lots of love to go around and never told myself I'd only have one! But, at the same time, I don't think my family will swell at the rate that many doll families on DOA do... People tend to go from one to several in less than a year, which I guess I did, but... They're tinies! *tries to save face and fails* Ah, whatever. I've only bought 2 and a half myself, right? Denial, my friends. It's nearly impossible to only have one, OR two for that matter.

    4. I thought I'd be OK with one, but I'm past that by one (at least for the moment...:sweat)

      Currently my plans are to buy "only one more" but we'll see how that goes...;)

    8. I only own one at the moment (well, two if you count the floating head...) but I don't think I could stay like this. I already have plans for at least three more. I think I'd be happy with just one if I didn't have so many characters running around in my head. They all want to be made into dolls - it's crazy!

    9. Nope, at the moment I have 4 at home…and 4 on the way. Although, out of 8 dolls I will only have one boy. I haven’t gotten him yet (a MNF I ordered from DDE), but I can already tell he’s going to be incredibly spoiled…being the only boy. I mention this because as far as having male dolls, I only plan on having one…and turning him into a spoiled brat that doesn’t have to share clothes/shoes like the girls do. :lol:

    10. It's almost been a year with my doll and fortunately (or unfortunately), my buget only allows me to keep one doll because I can't afford another, lol!

      I think that if you wish to have only one doll, money problems are the way to go, lol. Because I tell you that if i had the extra funds, I would have at least three by now.

    12. I have two dolls, and I acquired them within the same month. My first girl is an MSD, and I got an SD second.
      I LOVE the SD size. Its perfect. I love my MSD, don't get me wrong, but its hard to play with both sometimes and I always feel like she gets left behind. :(
      So I sorta wish I only had one, but I could never sell eaither of my girls. I just hope my money problems dont get any worse.:...(

    13. I had two for awhile and just found it frustrating. They were really hard to pose together and don't get me started about keeping them both dressed! I ended up selling both of them and getting my one dream doll (Unoa Sist!). I'm very happy with her! I still daydream about getting other dolls, but it's just not practical for me personally. I just can't afford it. But since Sist is my dream doll, I don't have as an intense feeling of "wanting" for other dolls.

      So, YES! I think it's possible to own just one doll if you can find the perfect one for you.

    14. I don't even have my first yet, but I plan on getting another. My first is going to be a girl, and the second will be a guy. I wanna have a 'pantsing' story for the DoA community, too!

      You're looking at a girl who has around 15 Build-A-Bears. Owning ABJD's may be more expensive than teddy bears, but I'm bound to find out one way around it...

    16. I have one tiny (lati green lea) and before she arrived I thought I would be done, but she came with a free head, so I really want another body as she seems a little lost on her own. But...
      at the same time I have currently fallen in love the DollGa Noella and I really want a minifee!
      I think it is addictive but I do manage to control it as lack of funds puts a dampner of major doll plans.
      If I won the lottery it would be another story, I would probably have at least 10 that I would buy straight away, but currently I am a successful owner of 1! at the moment...
