I'm getting several wigs and some eyes, but for SSDF...I wish I could buy one along with his outfit..otherwise he'll be naked...XD
Hope Luts will release the outfit and shoes during the event period

 

Luts site says "Clothes: BARON SET FOR SSDF (Will be released soon)" under the information for Flood.

I agree that there needs to be more stylish 70cm doll clothes out there. that is one thing keeping me from owning a 70cm doll

 

WAIT WAIT. what resin color is this in??? No white skin option????

btw, can you guys help me complete this??? as reference for clothes and shoes too! (I would really want to put a SDF Abadon's head on this body!):

I'm probably going to order my first doll this week from them, and a few other things so I can fully participate in the event.

I'd love to order either of them (Tho' Flood's my favorite), but I really feel that 70cm is too big for me.

They said that the '08 man head would be Real Skin Normal only, but I don't think they ever mentioned that the SSDFs, Cane and Flood, would be RSN only.

sooooo...because i am a nerd and wanted to see cane better, i tweaked the luts photo...too bad i couldn't get his nose to show up much better

hey look! they actually did blush his face more than just maybe a dot on his cheeks! i'm liking him a lot more without the washout effect.

and because i just had to...

abadon on the ssdf body. i tweaked the parts so that the body and face colors matched closer, and i placed the head lower and resized it to hopefully a size close to what it would actually be...not the best mock-up, but still enough to decide me to try it when i have enough money to get both abadon and a ssdf body (whenever they actually go on sale separately).

also, maybe they'll give the choice for white skin later...didn't it take a month or so after they started releasing the sdf line in real skin before it came out in white?

Wow fenris I really am liking how Abadon looks perched on that body. :O I have nothing to try mockups of different heads so I'll have to wait patiently for real skin white and beauty white comparisons and see if an El head won't look ridiculous with an SSDF body. :< I'm hoping they come out in white soon. Though it is sad that I won't be able to take advantage of such a great price!

And, as other have pointed out, I think Cane's lack of upper lip was what was throwing me off too. x__x;

 

To tell the truth I really like the 08' man head it looks really nice the only problume I have is that I dont like the bodys & sence they are new no one knows what other bodys will be a match for it & also its soooo big >.<
Ugh what a delema I have on my hands. Hmmm... I wonder if it could fit a SDF body....

 

Although 70cm isnt my cup of tea, I think Flood is rather handsome x3 I focused for a very long time on the skin color, and it does appear fairly pale in the pics. I hope they intend to release him in BW.

 

mikagami - yay for doll friends! it's my dream abadon too...

hisuiyui - i think they all have upper lips...luts just didn't do a good job in taking pix and they didn't really paint the lips too well.

delphy - i'm pretty sure it should fit. the head size difference is only about 1cm in head size and besides, necks can be modified.

 

No, that's what I meant. XD They do that with a lot of molds it seems. I just hate how they shop their photos.


EDIT: They don't give the measurement on the site and I'm sure it's an odd question but, do you think the SSDF hands would be about the same size as SDF. That's what I'm assuming. :O Not that I don't love delf hands but they always seemed a tad small to me.

Ah right, they never said that directly. I just figured because the '08 man head was Real Skin and they said it's meant for the SSDF body.

 

I think it took more than a month before white skin was released. SDF was released around spring of last year and it wasn't until late winter, that they decided to release white skin. I dont think Luts had plans for white skin, but since it was in demand, they decided to.

I think the current SSDF boys are offered in real skin. Cuz on the SDF page, isn't the white skin version of each doll listed separately? I'm assuming that they'll do this with SSDF and list the white skin version later with their own page too.

Also, for anyone that's interested, I already asked about the SDF and SSDF head swap and they said that they'll release comparison pictures later. I too, would like Abadon on that SSDF body. I can't wait for comparison pix :3

 

Man... they have gigantic feet ><! 9.5cm... we will never find shoes for them.

I'm so tempted by this price tho u_u
