Super Senior Delf Cane and Flood discussion

Well...I'm just guessing based on the photo arrangement, and the fact that she has sculpted for them before.
I really hope it is Yuna's work, though...I love what she's done before. =D

 

how do people know its an event? where does it say it?

I went to save the image and the file name is stated as "event" so I assumed it was.

 

that could just be their word for any new thing that is going on, they probably consider having a new 70cm line an event, but its not likely strictly an event doll, like when the senior delfs came out, you could win a fullset version of them for no extra cost, they will probably do something similar for these boys

I decided it was just a similarity, though, as I don't think there's any chance Luts would be previewing the new Dollshe body--and the chest sculpting and head all look very Senior Delf.

Also...has anyone noticed the numbering on the pics?
Pic 1 (cropped shot in chair, torso to nose) was labeled 'event 2-4'
Pic 2 (two boys with chair) is labeled 'event 3-4'

...did we somehow miss '1-4'? Or are they being put up out of order? Either way that means they should have more info up in one to two days, methinks....

oh, and since its almost june, they are probably going to have their summer event

but some how i doubt there will be a free head like they used to do, probably a "spend so much money on luts products and get entered into a drawing to win a doll" thing like they did for christmas

 

hate to rain on the parade of those hoping for 70cm boys, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the apparent size difference is more from perspective than actual size. notice how the fellow sitting in the chair is perched so far forward in the Luts photo, and nestled in the back in the Crobidoll one? that makes the Luts doll look like he comes much higher against the back. also, in the Crobidoll picture, you can clearly see the metal filigree on the back of the chair, but it blends into the background in the Luts photo, making the standing doll seem taller.

not that I'm saying they couldn't be 70cm, or at least 65, but I just don't think the picture is as definite an indication as some (and I went to the degree of putting the photos side by side and resizing to get the closest match of chair sizes I could to try and get the most accurate sense).


I have a somewhat unrelated question for the peeps in this thread: does anyone happen to still have the first clear picture of Sr. Delf Annette? where she's wearing the short silver wig? I was totally in love with that picture, and kind of fell out of love with the updo & wedding cake dress they put her in next/permanently. anyway, I'd love to have a copy if anyone's got it floating around.

@meeve--I have the first boy pic saved, but I always have to shrink the heck out of Luts photos before I can upload them to my server, and that makes the quality go way down. If no one else has it I'll put it up, but I bet there's someone who could make it look better than I could.

Ahhh....I see...3-3 = the bottom part of the pic, whereas 3-4 = the top (though when I check the url the bottom of the pic gives me 3-5)...so it's uploaded to their server in parts??? XD

@milodrums -- I'm definitely hoping it's a head by Yuna! ^o^ Although if I get one of these boys it will be to steal his body for my EgoProject Keath head. He will have to share the body if it's a Yuna-sculpted head,though. XDDD ETA: Assuming that these boys won't be limited, and assuming that they will eventually be released in white skin, that is, as my Keath head is white...which is me doing a lot of assuming...which is probably bad. XD;;; Either way I may buy him for himself and wait for a white skin release of the body for my Keath head....

You're talking about the boy on the left, right? I totally agree! He looks like a Latidoll K. I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who thought so too.

 

yup, the silver haired one, the lower half of his face screams lati to me, but that probably the angle of the photo

i'm keeping my fingers crossed there's more info this weekend, at least by the 2nd. if it is indeed a bigger boy, i believe i just found karyu's body. 8D

... i couldn't tell if the face is a new mold at all. but that boy's legs is certainly long. i hope that boy's body would become a new standard optional height of the SDFs (a tall Abadon! i could certainly see it nowXD!)!!
