Survey, sort of: What do you like/hate about your dolls?

1. What kind of doll(s) do you have?
Souldoll Double WS Ignis, Soom Cuprit, Soom Heliot girl, Resinsoul NS Mei.

2. What factor made you buy that particular doll(s)? (sculpt/price?)
Trying to capture my characters from books/gaming as accurately/creatively as possible, not just in how they are shown but how they are idealized in my imagination. These particular sculpts looked as close to how I idealize these characters as possible. I didn't want to spend nearly this amount of money on them, but I literally could not imagine my WoW character without Soom's female body. And then Souldoll released its Zenith size and I /facepalmed.

3. What do you love most about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
For my Sooms, I love their bodies the most. Their pelvis/hips are so gorgeous to me, they truly stand out in my mind because of that body. My Souldoll I love for her dark expression, she looks mature and serious, almost brooding, yet still classically lovely. Her pale skin and amazing faceup really lend toward the feminine appeal I wanted to maintain with her character. I also love the Souldoll pelvis/hips, but I'm not a huge fan of the waist joint. My Resinsoul is just the perfect size--I haven't taken her with me anywhere, but I love sitting her on my desk while I work, playing with her various outfits, and standing her up without the fear that her face will make that huge 70cm topple if she falls.

4. What do you love least about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
For my Sooms it has to be the price. I really regret paying that much for my hybrid Heliot, mostly because I still feel the face sculpt doesn't perfectly match what I had in mind for the character. I also wanted my character to be in natural skin, but it seems Soom is not at all interested in anything but white skin for their monthlies, and their regular dolls don't have elf ears. My Souldoll is too small--I can't find her a male doll to match! I should have waited and got a Soom Onyx Light Open Eye doll and she would match the entire rest of my collection... But that would have been like $900 instead of the $500 I paid for the Souldoll. I would however be open to putting her head on a Zenith body if I thought that might work. Decisions decisions...

5. If you knew what you know now about the doll before you had purchased it, would you still have purchased that doll(s), or would you have chosen another?
I still haven't found a head sculpt that would work better for my main character than Heliot, the same with my other dolls that I'm not 100% yet with. I hope though that after they have all their costumes, weapons, proper wigs and eyes and accessories they will wind up working out just fine! Overall, I'm still satisfied with what I have despite these issues.

2. What factor made you buy that particular doll(s)? (sculpt/price?)
Cutest anthro sculpt I've ever seen and I'm typically a cat person.

3. What do you love most about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
She's just adorable. My favorite is the face sculpt the most. Clothing is pretty easy to get and she'll fit some Lati Yellow dresses.

4. What do you love least about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
Before I hot glued her leg joints, she used to kick around a lot when trying to get her to stand. It didn't help that her feet were just so tiny and her head is just huge. She couldn't even sit well either. That problem was solved with the hot glue method (was afraid to do it at first). I should have done that to her arms too but they're not too bad.

5. If you knew what you know now about the doll before you had purchased it, would you still have purchased that doll(s), or would you have chosen another?

I would still purchase her anyway. :P Sculpts are what draws me in the most.

PF Yoko, PF Chou, LF Ante, and LF Leah.

2. What factor made you buy that particular doll(s)? (sculpt/price?)
They're cute, but without layaway option I couldn't afford them!

3. What do you love most about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
Their faces are too cute to resist, and they pose well!

4. What do you love least about your doll(s)? (physical aspects - poseability, access to clothes, patterning, mod ability, resin type, etc)
I only hate about PF dolls that it's hard to find clothes, shoes, and wigs for them!

5. If you knew what you know now about the doll before you had purchased it, would you still have purchased that doll(s), or would you have chosen another?
I love my girls and I would still get them!
