I actually recently did this. For the Yido head I'm waiting for, I ordered dfh 65cm body matched to switch mocha brown from alice collections. Because they already have the sample it cost the same as ordering their tan option. I guess Ill see how close it is eventually.

 

I got my Huisa head in RW and... It's actually less pale than I expected??? Mind, it is still very pale compared to my other normal pink dolls, but it's not white. I quite like the color actually. If I find a body I can color match when ordering, I guess I'm gonna do that!
I also tried it on every body I own (female 58cm which is obv a huge no, DFA male 62cm wich is still a little small and DFH 68cm which I find too tall.) So yeah 65 range is probably the best fit. Now, I need a female body that's about 65cm and I dunno which to choose

 

I've never seen a doll in RW irl so I'm really curious. Can't wait for my Ryuzo.

hello anyone did a hybrid with switch rosy white skin with dfh white? is it a good match?

 

Doll Family H actually does free resin matching if they happen to have samples of the shade you're trying to match! I actually just contacted ACBJD to ask if DFH had SWITCH's Rosy White and Milktea Rose, they do! The only thing is that depending on what year or sample they have, it might look slightly different. But I think you can also send in samples or if you find a paint card that is the same as the one you want, you can also send that in!

I impulsively decided to purchase a Huisa Direction head from someone who was selling him. I'd like a thinner body for him but most 65cm bodies are more muscular than what I'm thinking of. I thought about DF-H 62cm Ver 5 body but I think I saw someone's opinion that it feels too small? Was wondering if anyone has any hybrids on thinner bodies or bodies under 65cm

 

My concerto yido arrived yesterday. The mocha brown colour is really cool. Hopefully the dfh body I ordered for him is a close match and doesnt take too long wait time, haha.

And I agree, Mocha Brown is amazing. I would really love a doll in this colour, preferrably a Ryuzo, but I also need to finally get my MR Soseo a body I just hope they won't re-release MB Ryuzo for another year at least
