Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Hurrrrr I got another Shiwoo head XD
      Instead of a full MNF I hybridized him onto a DZ body like my Breakaway and I'm thrilled to death with him now. He's even modeled after my old one.

      Under what circumstances did you buy it back? And if so how did it turn out the second time around?

      I would say it's better this time around. I have come to realize that I have definite issues with the MNF body. I don't know what it is, but I can't deal with it. The Dollzone body is easy. I can make him pose the way I want and not have to work at it. The head fits perfectly on the body, it's proportionate and he's taller than he used to be which I like, and i gave him different, larger hands (I like big hands) so I've essentially made him the way I like my dolls. Plus the old one didn't really have clothes, or even a point in my collection. This one does, and I am more comfortable with him now.

      Personally, I haven't sold any dolls yet, but I think I would think about it for a long time before I decided to sell to prevent that regret.

    3. Thank you! I'm still tickled pink I got her back and smile whenever I see her!

      I have sold quite a few others that didn't work out right or that I made for myself -sometimes at great effort- and then didn't bond with, so sent them on to good homes. None were grail dolls, and I do think of the Juri/FD hybrid I made. I figure I made her once, I can make her again if I want to, but I still look at every Juri head on the MP when one goes up for sale. *L* I think it was a 2006 Christmas event head. I actually made that one because I saw one for sale on ebay and was outbid for her, so I saved the pics and modeled my own hybrid on that one. Is that cheating? I always felt like I was idea-stealing, though of course she wasn't exact. I still think of her but haven't felt compelled to remake her... yet. What I miss the most from that doll is the wig, because I sold her as a full set. (*makes a face* That probably means I want the wig more than the doll, eh?) But I have my personal pics of her still, just in case.

      Uh oh... I just looked at the old pics. I could find her a place for her again now. Oh dear.

    4. I definitely regret selling my Orientdoll Il. He is now impossible to find. :/ That's the only regret I have thus far.
