1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Tan bjds!

Mar 12, 2014

    1. i LOVE tan dolls and I'm hoping to have only tan dolls ever. I myself have "tan" skin and whenever I make an avatar of sorts I just have to have tan skin like me. I gravitate towards the darker skin colours but... curse them for being the more pricey of options!

    2. I'm a fan of tan dolls. It's nice to see some diversity in the hobby. I hope to one day own a dark tanned doll. There's a little one from Momotree currently on my wish list, Lucy. Unfortunately, the tanned dolls are pricier than their lighter skinned companions. From what I understand, they are also trickier to sand due to the skin tone. Still, they seem to be quite popular and sell out rather quickly on some sites.

    3. Tan is something I really think adds to a doll!
I just recently ordered my first tan doll from Fairyland!!!

    4. I personally like tan dolls, though I'm also a big fan of just paper white skin, even though it's not natural. I prefer tan/dark-skinned dolls that do look natural though, because if it just looks like they melted a caramel on the skin, it's not as pretty as a natural shade. I hope to have a wide range of doll colors actually; maybe even some pink and blue little faeries/sprites! :D

    5. I think tan dolls are extra special. The tan skin 'adds' something to the doll, something that makes the dolls more unique and even more beautiful. I really like tan skin dolls, that's the reason why I own some :)

    6. I have just one, a light brown IP, and I like her a lot. So far each of my IPs have a different skin color and so far I have liked them all.

    7. I love tan dolls, and looking at my NS Bobobie Isabella, I wish she was the light tan color option, because the NS is so pale.
