1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I don't have a tattoo as I don't have anything meaningfull enough to want to commit to my body forevermore. It'd have to be really bloody important to me to want to have to look at it every day! I've considered for one of my dolls to be given them, since I can do it myself and do the upkeep of them myself. So far, though, nothing.

    2. No tattoo, because I would unlikely to like it forever and in any case I am very prone to scarring and infection, so I'm wary. But my Angelsdoll Hyang is very tattooed, it suits her look.

    3. I really want a tattoo but I haven't found the right one yet. As for my dolls...at least one will have a tattoo at some point. I'm very picky when it comes to art so I have to take my time with it and also find the right artist and meaningful design.

    4. BEcause of the risks of Tattoos.. No, I don't want one , and I don't want one for my doll either because it won't be removable.. XDD

    5. Two of my dolls have tattoos and I have plans for at least one more. (If I ever get myself to finishing my first one's sleeves, that is -__-)
I don't have any tattoos of my own yet, but plan to change that within the next few years. Would do it sooner if it weren't for the artists I'm interested in living and working in different countries and being booked out for at least 1-2 years.

    6. it must fit the caracter. I am to scared to have a tattoo. But I love to see them on other person's.. (and I think I am to old I am 46 years so it is a no no).

    7. i have many tattoos but my doll will not have one ^^ she is a young girl and....so...no tattoo for her ^^

    8. I have a ton of tattoos, but it's reverse for my dolls. None of them have tattoos, and it'd have to be something pretty cool or worth marking the resin for.

    9. I do plan on getting at least one tattoo in the future, and I don't really know about my dolls yet. From what I heard doll tattoos tend to wear off eventually, and it depends on the dolls personality, so I don't know.

    10. I would never get a tattoo (my dad's a dermatologist and I was just raised that way & I probably couldn't make up my mind and want to change it every few weeks so I'll stick to henna) but I think tattoos look good on certain people, and the same goes for dolls. I might give my doll a tattoo, but the cool thing about dolls are you can change the tattoo as many times as you want!

    11. I don't have any, and probably never will. Even though I think about getting one sometimes. It is a nice thing, but not a must-have, because I can imagine that I would get used to it very quickly and not enjoy it consciously anymore. So I'd rather buy another doll for this money. Or 100 cups of caramel latte or something.

But I love looking at tatoos on others. And hence, one of my current dolls has some (very tiny and hardly noticeable floral ones, actually, but still, they are there). And four other dolls that are already planned, just not here yet - one is on his way right now - will probably have some. Of these four, every doll will have a special tatoo that is part of their background, and I can imagine them getting additional ones, just because I have to coat the doll part with sealant anyway ^^

    12. I don't like the fact that tattoos are relatively permanent, so I won't get them. Hennas are nice though.

Some of my dolls have/will have tattoos, but they'll mostly be small ones on their hand, neck, lower back, etc

    13. I do have, some of my dolls will have soon.

    14. Just my dolls- they don't have the religious beliefs about their bodies that lead me to decide against tattoos for myself. Besides, theirs wipe off if I change my mind, so I can redo them as often as I want!

    15. I;m far too fickle to nearly-permanently put anything on my skin and I never think about tattoos for my dolls.I think it's because my dolls are based on comic book characters and I barely remember to put scars where they're supposed to, much less a tattoo. So none of my characters have tattoos. @_@

    16. I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo or two myself. I'm not too concerned about the pain, and I already know what designs I want, my main concern is finding an artist who's work I love enough to want it permantly. I know I go back to my own art all the time and wonder why on earth I was proud of something that looks so bad, even the artists that I follow seems to change every couple of years, so for now, no tattoos for me.

As for my bjds, I just did my first bjd tattoo tonight. I'm already tempted to do more, it was a lot of fun. The only problem now is that my current bjd characters don't have many tattoos... an excuse to buy more bjds perhaps?;)

    17. My right arm and my left shoulder are all tattoed now. And I consider having my left arm tattoed soon... Well I love it and my BJDs too. Most of them are tatooed

    18. I don't have any tattoos, nor do I want any, but I've seen some beautiful tattoo work on dolls that I'd love to replicate!

    19. Tattoos aren't my aesthetic for my dolls or something I'd want for myself, but occasionally I see dolls with interesting tribal tattoos. If it works for the doll, can be quite cool. I just don't see that many tattoos on people or dolls that appeal to me. I think tattoos are often something personal to the person getting them. Makes sense people who have backstories for their dolls would include them. I'm just not the type.

    20. I have three tattoos, but neither of my dolls do - that's not their aesthetic. But that doesn't mean that future dolls might not have tattoos. It all depends on the doll's styling.
