Tattoos: just you, just your dolls, or both?

I'm planning on tatting a doll when he comes. But currently none of my dolls have a tattoo. I am a tattooed and pierced individual.

 

I've had dolls with tattoos in the past and will have again. Even though I would like to have a tattoo, I don't because DH is vehemently opposed to it. So, to keep peace in the house, I am tattoo-less.

 

got lots of tatts myself, however, most of my dolls are little kids and don't. i'm totally not against giving my "older" dolls/elf dolls tattoos if they're like tribally themed...something that would go with their "clan" or origin
i've seen others dolls--the bigger ones--with some nice ones though

 

I have two tattoos myself and will probably get more once I stop being a poor student. I've loved tattoos ever since I was a kid and used to colour in the four black and white ones that my granddad has on his arms. I already know that when my D.O.D Luke arrives (Salem x) he's going to have the exact same four tattoos as my granddad has. I think he's my only character with tattoos and certainly the only one I'm planning to have as a doll but his tattoos are definitely related to mine.

 

I have several tattoos and would love to give my dolls tattoos buy im not so talented.

 

I have one tattoo. Right now none of my dolls have tattoos, but I do intend to get them some as soon as I can get my act together. Hmmmm, this could take a while. PS: I love tattoos.

 

I have quite a few tattoos myself, but I don't think I will ever bother to do any for my dolls. Maybe, not sure.

 

Some of my dolls have them, but I don't have any on myself. (Mainly because I've heard it's super-painful, and because there is nothing that I want permanently drawn on my skin.)

 

I don't have any tattoos and neither do my dolls currently. I'm just to young to receive a legitimate, non "back-alley" tattoo, and have no interest in getting one at this point in time. My BJDs also lack tattoos, but I'm allocating funds so they may receive them. One of my dolls in particular will be covered in tattoos when I'm done with her. XD
Latte, I agree with you in terms of how frustrating it'd be if the tattoos chipped (they're a tad expensive), so I'll have to handle my dolls more delicately as a result. It is gonna be annoying, but I have a feeling the tattoos themselves will be worth it.

 

I have a lot of tattoos, but for some reason I wouldn't want any of my dolls to have them. I'm not sure why I feel that way. I do like the little white designs people put on their dolls but I'm not sure if that is considered a tattoo...

 

I have several tattoos myself, some even includeing some poorly done doll joints. I love my inks!

My doll currently has no ink, but I plan on him getting a few because it fits his style! However mine and his will not match as mine are more wild/celtic looking and his will be punkish.

 

I would like to have a tattoo, but I´m to scarred of pain, so I will never get one. But one of my doll will have a tattoo sooner or later. I´m looking for a good person to tattoo him.

 

I have no tattoos because I have a phobia of needles, and even pricking myself the wrong way with a sewing needle (hand sewer, I can't deal with a machine) can trigger it. But some of my dolls later and one that I have now do have/will have tattoos because it's part of the character.

 

I'm not interested in tattooing myself. I know whatever I decided to do would be something fandom or hobby related, and I drift from fandoms and hobbies too quickly to be confident I wouldn't regret getting it somewhere along the line. However, I do have one doll who has a tattoo - I just haven't done it yet. I couldn't decide what it was I wanted him to have until very recently, and it needed to be something that fit in with his personality and story. I also have another doll who originally had one, but I took it off. I'm trying to decide if I want to put it back on her. It used to be relevant to her plot, but now not so much. But we don't really discuss characters here, so...

I am thinking I have one upcoming doll who will probably have a few. But I haven't even found a sculpt for him yet.

 

I do have ink, I don't think my doll will. He'll be my first and the character I've got him leanign towards atm doesn't seem the type.
Then again, he may well change his mind once he gets here.

 

Never say never... I don't have a tattoo nor do I want one. I don't have any dolls that do, because their characters don't call for them. Neither of my "in planning" dolls will have one either. But if someday I had a character that I felt would have one, then I'd probably try it.

Nothing against tattoos, I just don't want one and I don't have a doll that would fit one.

I've got two tattoos for myself in the planning process, and I'm waiting to see my Noir before I decide on whether or not he'll have tattoos.

 

I have known for a while that I someday will have a tattoo, I'm just a bit to picky, if you want, to have it jet (the picture is not right jet). On my dolls, it'S a form of experimentation. All of them have them, and they are a way for me to learn about face uos, body blushing, and dollart in general, other purposes aside.

 

I actually tattoo people its one of my side jobs and of course have some myself.
None of my dolls have any tattoos as of right now but i am planning to eventually give at least one of them a few if the character seems right for it
