Is anyone eyeing it as well? It ahs 40 cm so would be perfect as a partner for my 1/4 dolls ^_^. Or maybe someone already ordered one? Which head? I am torn between Xiao Bei and Mei Jiuqi..
Hi @aeth! I actually just discovered this line and was confused if it’ll be in the Large or Mini dolls forum, too! Have you ordered a doll from this line? I’ve been gone from the hobby for about 7 years, and am really liking the 50cm mature sizes. I also like fashion dolls so I like the type of clothes you can get for SDs but find 60cm and up sizes too large and unwieldy for me to handle. (It’s quite something to see the explosion in the number of companies putting out 65cm and larger sizes compared to back then.) Since Telesthesia’s line is more affordable than Souldoll Vito, the Granado lines, and others, this is what I’m considering getting as a test to see how I like the size. On Alice’s Collections, the description says we have 5 head options for this body, all resculpted to fit a smaller body (although I hope they add more): Xiao Bei Du Xiaoju Mu Yunjun Mu Ranzhi Mei Jiuqi I really like Mei Jiuqi (but with human ears) and am seriously considering getting him sometime this year. If anyone already has the body and/or smaller heads, please share!
I ordered the body through New Clover Singing, but I imagine it'll be a while before it's made and delivered. I'll post pictures when I get him I didn't get a head however, as I'll be sticking a 3d printed doll head onto the body.
I’m so excited for you! Yes, please show the body when it arrives! Is the head one you printed? Or is it an artist selling 3D printed heads? I feel like I keep repeating myself, but coming back to this hobby after 7 years, I’m just catching up on new technologies and how trends have changed.
@xinwang One that I'll print! I haven't done it yet as it isn't yet ready, but I knew I wouldn't be able to find the perfect heads for a 50cm doll. I ordered him in normal pink along with Ringdoll's 50cm and can do a comparison of 'em too.
That’s so cool! Is it a resin printer? What rendering software do you use to sculpt the heads? I actually have the Ringdoll 1/4 Zhao Yun. But I hadn’t realized: are they 50cm? Or does Ringdoll have a separate 50cm line?
