1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Tenshi no Sato -- worth the trip?

Jun 28, 2005

    1. Yeah, i kinda figured that would be the case, thank you~ :)

    2. Kyoto is a city worth going to. I was just there this past Jan. It was lovely, I actually like it more than Tokyo.

      I hope to visit again soon, I hope to go to Tenshi No Sato during my next trip

    3. If you're starting in Tokyo it's also easy to get a non-reserved seat so long as you arrive 15-20 minutes before a scheduled departure. Over GW 2007, I had a friend reserve seats to Tokyo from Shin Osaka about a month beforehand since we were a group of 4 who wanted to sit together, and I reserved seats on my own the day I arrived at KIX for a round trip to Tokyo to attend an event at the start of the GW holiday time.

      When I left Tokyo though for Shin Osaka I didn't have a reserve seat since I wasn't sure when I wanted to leave and just got to the train 15-20 mins early and had no problem with a non-reserved seat. Reserved seats really make a difference when boarding at a non-originating station (like say, Kyoto), when you need to take a specific train for connection purposes, when you can't arrive early, or when in a group. ^^

      I did non-reserved seats 2006 GW from Shin Osaka to Tokyo as well without a prob. I prefer reserved seats, but when all the non-smoking cars are booked, non-reserved is better than nothing. ^^;

      I try to go to Japan every GW cause the weather is smashing and there are so many events. ^^ This year I got super lucky and got Shin and Lin.
