Tensiya releases 4th Dollshe DO Bermann - Hwa-rang

SDink- I know people were trying to order them and have someone else do it for them as to improve their chances and so thats how they ended up with more. As far as I know they weren't looking to make a profit but as to what they do with that slot now, we shall wait and see right?

 

I see, that makes sense, it's just so frustrating and all of the stories I read and hear about -_- why do they have to be so rare?

 

I'm pretty sure that the 23 number is people, not orders (perhaps orders in the 30 some number mentioned before?) I don't think anyone was actually trying to buy two at the time, but were confused by order proccess and put their order in twice because they didn't think it worked the first time.

 

I agree, I think this is exactly what happened. The order site was hosed up and people wanted to make sure that they got an order in, hence, probably some, unknownst to them at the time, got two orders in.

Hopefully things will be a whole lot more streamlined this time and work out in a much fairer manner for everyone.

 

It has been confirmed that this Do Bermann release is earmarked for those buyers who thought they had purchased the Heimdal Bermann only to find that the system had crashed and they were subsequently put on a waiting list.

I think tensiya.com is doing the right thing. And I'm excited to see all the new boys in the Gallery.

New Bermann. O_O. The chances of me getting one are slim to none, especially since I doubt I'd be able to afford him even if I DID have the chance to get one...

And someone posted an email from Momo saying pretty much the same, all of the sells will be held via email to those on the list.

I'm sadly dissapointed that Tensiya has decided to go through with the priority list. I've been against it from the start.

I was at the Tensiya page when Heimdall released. I _almost_ got him, but decided not to as I prefer my boys in normal skin, so I was going to wait for the next release. I really don't think Tensiya is handling this proffesionally, despite the fact it was a site malfunction. Everyone should be given a fair chance for such a rare doll.

I truly hope some on the list refuse, to give some others a small chance. I know this is a perfect time for me, as I have the money for him and I may not in the future. ._.

 

Yes this is true and sad. Last time I found the Bermann is in white skin and decided not to try and let others take the chance...but turn out to be the piority list thing...I've scold myself for a thousand times since then -_- sigh.

...but the decisions have been made and now just hope those are on the list are not the ones who want to make profit from it than it's fine...so sad.

 

Poor Anu, No matter how she does this, she's in the doghouse, so to speak.

Come on guys, let her make her choice as to the way she wants to handle it, and let's all be happy with it.

IMHO I think she should sell the dolls at $1600; that would cut down on the complaints....for sure. If not..well I do think $2000 is a grand price.

 

They are also doing the priority list because they kind of have to.
If they didn't, they could almost assure themselves that those 12 spots, the people who had them would probably never shop at Tensiya again because of the system error and then how they went about "fixing" things.
They know they messed up and this is how they fix it. These people will probably shop with them again and those that dont have a chance with this Bermann because of that, well chances are if and when they release the next one, most will probably go for it then too.
It's just a customer service thing. Whether I agree with it or not is another thing but I can totally understand why they are doing it.

 

I respectfully disagree with you. They don't "have to" do anything of the sort. And I seriously doubt that those twelve folks would never try for a Bermann again if they were told that it was a system crash outside of tensiya's control and "better luck next time." I think Anu has made a HUGELY generous and gracious decision to allow those people who had been part of the disappointing problem with the Heimdal to have an opportunity to bring this new boy home. I'm simply in awe of her thoughtfullness and I don't see it as a business obligation.

I hope that this thread will remain joyous and upbeat and am looking forward to seeing the new Bermanns in the Gallery.

 

I didn't mean as they have to but from a customer service standpoint and to keep their company on the good sides of people, it's a smart move. No one's forcing them too and I agree that it's a gracious decision but a very smart one. It's not the fact that their system failed but in the following 24 hours how they had dealt with things that really got to people.
I agree with the priority list but I still think there was some business in mind when they did it. keeps them good with the people.
I personally can't wait to see what he looks like and just what colors they use this time and everything. Will he be a happier bermann? Heimdal came out a lot happier than everyone thought so I think it'll be interesting this time around....

 

Bear in mind, they are being offered the -opportunity- to buy the new Bermann. Circumstances can and do change in the face of something like this. There is that chance that several people can't get this fellow because of a sudden financial change since last offering, or they reconsider the idea, or whatever have you. There is that -faint- chance that some of the slots will open to the general public, but she is not opening that opportunity up until she has assured that everyone who was promised one before has had their opportunity to take or leave this one.

Also, while the Bermanns are limited, there are releases that are still left. If it's all about the doll itself, and not so much the outfits, there will be another opportunity...possibly in the near future as it appears that the releases are coming closer together. Hold your money, keep that space open on your credit card, whatever it takes.

 

I agree 100%. This is a time for anxious waiting and happy dreams.

At this rate I wouldn't be surprised though, if because of all the negativity around this release, some people don't even show arrival pics of their new boys. =_=;;;

aaw but you can't blame people for being sad/dissapointed, right? I mean, it's Anu's decision and everything and she should do whatever she thinks is right, but truth is Bermann is a very, very popular and very limited doll, and he's hard to get as it is, and the chance of getting one just got even smaller..I think people are allowed to say they're sad about that too, not just being happy to see other people's Bermanns in the gallery..

 

Of course people can voice their sadness. But as Limited as this doll is being reputed to be, there are FAR more Limited Edition dolls that have been released and are yet to be released. There are still more of both the DO and the SA Bermann yet to come.

I understand that some people are disappointed, however, we are not going to allow Anu or tensiya.com to be maligned on this board with the excuse of "disappointment."

I want to CELEBRATE the Bermanns owned by members of Den of Angels!
