Tensiya releases 4th Dollshe DO Bermann - Hwa-rang

I have to put just another word in.

I was thinking of buying a Husky or a Hound later on. I was going to purchase it from Tensiya. But, because of how they dealt with the Bermann releases, I will take my bussiness elsewhere. I don't doubt the sincerity of Anu's actions, and that she did what she felt was right. But I know that she lost my bussiness, and I wouldn't be surprised if she lost a few others as well. I am going to continue to try for a Bermann, simply because he is a dream doll of mine. But I do not think this desiscion was necessarily the best one.

However, I do hope the owners of these Bermann enjoy him very much, and I can't wait to see what Anu does with the Bermann of the future.

 

Looks like Momo sent out an email "test" this morning to the people on the list. Keep an eye out for it!

I almost had a heart attack when I saw email from Momo in my mailbox this morning. I hope we'll know soon, for sure!

Ya know, I'm going to jump in on this because I really don't understand why people are so upset at Anu.

There are going to be more.

You still have 5 MORE SHOTS total. 4 at getting the DO and one at getting the SA. I could see the pissiness a little more if there were absolutely no more dolls left and your chances were SOL for the rest of eternity. So what if it's only one group of 11 that's not available. There's going to be more to choose from- and bet me each one will be more exquisite than the last. And if anything, look at it this way...that's 11 more people that (more than likely) aren't going for future releases.

So to those that are upset right now, sit tight, save your money and when the time comes (remember, you have 5 more chances total), jump on it.

5 more chances, maybe. but it might have been six. the more chances, the higher probablity of getting one. :shrug:

 

I'm upset because it was not the most professional way to handle it. And what if it was _this_ Bermann that called to me? Like I said, this is a prime time for me to be able to go for him. I have the money in my hand, and who knows what circumstances may come up in the next few months to suck that money away from me. Though there's going to be more, this is one less chance I have of getting a Bermann. Each doll release should be a fair release for _everyone_. I don't understand the priority list in the first place. Yea, it was bad what happened. But I don't think that justifies securing you a spot for the next release. It just doesn't make sense to me.

 

Again I say...there was no easy choice for Anu. She did what her heart told her was the correct path. Who are we to say what was the correct choice??

Unprofessional? I don't think we should be making those kinds of judgements, so lets not....please.

I, for one, am thrilled for all of the winners...or prospective buyers. I know who the Hwa-rang are .....You are very lucky indeed...and I'm jealous, that I am.^^

I am wondering if they are going to allow "transfer" of these priority-spots, so to speak?-- Or if that would make things too complicated, and they'll return any unused spots to the "general public". I got a spot from being part of the fiasco last time... because I was trying to buy for someone else, & got as far as payment-and-refund. Since I got my refund before their PayPal account got frozen, my order must've JUST missed ground-zero. If there is any chronological-order to these priority-spots, then this is a good one... and it'd be a shame just to throw it back into the water. Anybody clear on the nuances of how this'll work?

I just got that "test" email this morning, too, so I suppose I'll find out in time anyway.

As for how they're handling it, I think they're doing the best damage-control they can, to heal their rep after that bloodbath in March. (An open-cart system in the first place, for an LE11... whattayaTHINKin'... ;; ) It's first-come-first-served, so they're first serving those who were closest in line from last time. Some people didn't have that $950 to throw around so cavalierly, while awaiting a refund, so they were probably quite pissed; & Tensiya isn't wrong to do right by those people first. Their hearts seem to be in the right place, and you really can't please everybody.

Won't it be fabulous when ALL of the Bermanns are out and there's Bermann spam all over the place? Our boy is a background kind of Bermann, so he doesn't appear much in the gallery. I hope that more people feel comfortable customizing them once they don't seem quite so rare. It is kind of funny that they are so obsession inducing. I have a one of a kind doll, plus the dolls I've altered to be one of a kind, and they just don't make me feral and overprotective the way Magnus does....it's the nose.

 

if anyone here who's getting the hwa rang doesn't want theirs so much please consider DOA member Gayle, Ochame, SDink, Musesick, Amelia_a and Humbug (they all do not have any bermanns yet and were waiting a long time and they are really really nice people) -- anyway those are the ones i can remember and have spoken to me about their wishes....^^'' my apology if i left someone out >_<

How about being so honest and tell Anu you don’t want a Bermann and have her remove you from the list?
If everybody on this list for similar reasons as you did that, maybe that would diminish the list enough to bring some Bermanns of this batch into free sale and give some others a chance to get him.
Do you really want to be the judge of who of all the people here who want a Bermann covet/need/love/dream of/deserve him more than everybody else? Leave it to Anu and luck.

hmmmm i wonder how the next bermann will be released... anu and momo are nice ppl i actually suggested lottery but momo siad there were only 2 of them and it wun seem fair, but overall they are really nice to deal with...

as for language hmmm its ok i can understand most of the time....

as for transfer i suggest that jenny gets the doll and lets it go on doa well i mean either u choose from the listed ppl or do a random pick.... lol both sounds as bad, anyone has any idea?

I already disagree with the priority list. Transferring the priority to someone else is just... I have no words. If you don't want the Bermann, please let it go to the public. =x
