1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

That One Thing You Can't Find ANYWHERE!

Jul 6, 2014

    1. Camouflage anything for JID, especially pants- Black and gray camo fabric (without white) is even trickier to find.
Mature articles of punk like clothing for JID with a bit of fun leopard print.
Any clothes that fit perfectly on a Souldoll Vito.

    2. HZbjd (Heise Jinyao) has female clothes for 1/3 boys. They also sell custom-tailored items. Check jeeryama eBay or PM me.

    3. I haven't gone clothing shopping for my main doll (an Aileen Doll Polymorph Lucy) much yet, but what I've found is that I'm having the hardest time finding wigs! Her head is apparently in an odd in-between size, and I'm afraid to go up or down cause I don't know what will fit.... For the clothes, I'm mostly trying to make them myself. She's 12cm or so, about YoSD or Barbie sized, but with a large bust and hips, so even fitting Barbie patterns is difficult.
In short, I feel your pain!

    4. I remember finding an ADORABLE pair of shoes for my doll, but not only was it SD sized, it was also not even for sale at the same online place it was before =/ And I think they would be too small for my incoming SD and not work very well with her style. Gah!

    5. Pointe shoes for my SD girl. Even better if I could find ballerina feet for her too. I found one site that used to sell them, but they're sold out and the last update on the site was 2013, so...

    6. anyone else have a moe line minifee with those tiny little feets? impossible to find shoes for. MSD size is generally too big and YoSD are often too small. However, I have found that lots of mimiwoo's YoSD shoes fit perfectly! like a glove! I've also had a hard time finding a proper bra for the glamour bust. everything is either too tight and her nipples still show through her clothes, or it's too loose and the fabric of the bra shows through her clothes. the struggles!

    7. A lot of dance stores carry single point shoes as keychains and they look just like the real thing. Some of the ones I've seen would likely fit an SD sized girl. San Francisco Dancewear used to have them and they have a site online. There's a big store in NYC called Freed's as I recall that might have them too.

    8. a perfect dress for my souldoll bodied Lev!! i love long dress with 18-19c style, and almost it's hard to find suitable one for big-busted mini girl!

    9. I have come to discover that cute, knee length dresses with long sleeves are almost impossible to find for 60cm girls. I don't know how this happened, but I literally spent about a week trying to find a simple, feminine, youthful dress for my incoming girl that has long sleeves that wasn't an extravagant fullset outfit. There are some skintight "skater" dresses out there, but I'm talking about something a little more flowy, modest...sort of an otome kei look, but even then it needn't even be quite so fancy. I was floored that something so simple was so difficult to find.

    10. Emerald green heat-resisting fiber wigs for 7-8". Even a deep dark green would do! All the so-called "green" wigs are either teal or only a streak of green in an otherwise normal colored wig. We need more green wigs!!!

    11. I find it hard to get cool clothes for my tinies. or wigs that don't look silly. I feel like people are afraid of tinies because of their size. I personally love them, but get frustrated when I can't find anything that I like for them

    12. Low-dome glass eyes that have true black irises as well as pupils. DX And smaller MSD shoes. All my minis have small, narrow feet, and I cannot find shoes for any of them!

And there really aren't many eyeglasses out there anymore. I would really like more choices, especially for smaller dolls.

    13. I cannot, for the life of me, find a Sia wig (ala Chandelier music video) for my MSD.

And decent-looking adult 1/4 heels. Everything I seem to find looks like it's meant for children.

    14. Wigs that are in a size that fits my funny sized Dollshe Saint and Bernard. Any wig that I find that works with what I'm looking for is never quite the correct size. Inbetween sized heads are frustrating.

And eyes that have a small iris and big enough that wont cause gapping in the eye well that don't cost and arm and a leg. I want mature eyes, not puppy dog eyes...

    15. An appropriate style/size shoe for my KW Rallie. The standard yosd shoe is still too large even with socks or tights on her feet look out of proportion.

    16. Is anyone else finding a problem when it comes to furniture and props being made in true and consistent scale?

For example, I've ordered supposedly 1:4 scale motorcycles from different places only to receive one cycle that was too big for my 1:4 doll. Made him look like a ten year old sitting on his dad's motorcycle. Then the next supposedly 1:4 scale bike I receive is too small, and actually better suited for 1:6 scale dolls! :-/

Here is another example of what I'm talking about, I purchase a 1:4 scale couch for Lue's room, then I purchase a 1:4 scale rocking chair from somewhere else. Both these items are supposed to be 1:4 scale, but when I place them in the room together they look ridiculous because the "1:4 scale" rocker is huge compared to the "1:4 scale" couch! 0_o

When things are made to scale, they are supposed to be accurate. You should be able to put any two 1:4 scale items together, and have them look appropriate to each other. A 1:4 scale tea set placed on a 1:4 scale dining table, should look exactly the same in proportion to each other as a real tea set placed on a real table.

Now, I realize that most if not all BJDs aren't really made in the true proportions of a real person, and that BJDs also vary in proportions from one company to another, so I would expect BJD props to have some variance in scale.... but not to the extent of some of the stuff I'm seeing! I mean, a 1:3 scale chair from Luts, should still look acceptable next to a 1:3 scale couch from Volks, and the 1:3 scale floor lamp made by a crafter on Etsy should also look plausable when added to the chair and couch.

I'm not just seeing this only in scale props designed for BJDs, but I've encountered the same problem in 1:6 scale doll and action figure props. I've even seen it with the props made for the American Girl dolls, and I'm talking about the furniture and props made by the same company that makes the dolls! I have an American Girl desk that fits my 1:4 dolls perfectly, and an American Girl dining chair that looks ridiculously huge when you set it next to the desk, yet American Girl furniture and accessories should technically all be in the same scale!

Maybe it comes from having dabbled in 1:12 scale miniatures, or maybe I'm just being too much of a perfectionist, but this lack of scale accuracy and consistency really frustrates me sometimes when I'm trying to find that perfect special prop.

    17. A dark blue wig that seems to refuse to come to me. :|

    18. Which size & length?

And again - size, color and preferable price?

    19. For me, I can't seem to find a tan/brown mori outfit for my girly. I'm starting to think I'm going to have to attempt making my own.

    20. Ryoya Konoe's wig... I have been trying to find a similar wig but cannot find the right cut anywhere T_T"
Switch Brownie cut (size: L) are also difficult to buy~
