I have said it, MANY times in this thread, that I am hUGE Dollshe fan.

Why, does the advent of another TALL boy, create such ill will?


If Kim, and Tensiya, feel they have been slighted, let them have the court decide.

Meanwhile, the harrassment level towards Dollmore is totally out of line. (you guys aren'st seeing those letters, I have, and am.)

I will say again, I am so sorry that Kim, thinks his dolls are so nothing as to even venture into an issue such as this.

Kim's sculpts are in a world of their own, and he does NOT have to compete in the way he is competing on this issue.

It's a HUGE shame, that someone has made him feel this defensive about his dolls.

And the sensitive delicate lines of the doll and the thickness and ____ is very different. There are parts that are similar, but that is all i can say. "similar" not "exact" and for the world of dollfies, please stop. this is very sad.... because we need a lot of ppl who needs to understand the basics of science in this world to understand what we are talking about....

Maybe they're arguing that Kyle and Dollshe boys aren't the same size and people are counter-arguing that by casting a Dollshe boy, you get a slightly different size/shape due to the casting process?

 

Tell you what; why don't we get someone like Donn in who actually knows all about casting resin and making BJDs? I'm sure he would be able to tell us just how casting/molding faults from the Dollshe bodies have been replicated so precisely inside Dollmore Model-M parts.

It's that precise replication that I think is so damning, and I haven't heard a single word from Gayle or anyone else to explain it satisfactorily.

아,밑에 글에 잘못 쓴 부분 있네요. 타공자욱은복제와는 상관이 없습니다. 다만 타공을 만들 때 생긴 자국이나 흠집이 복제 후의 원형에도 당연히 그대로 나타나게 되지요.

Ah, my mistake, looks like there's something that's not written correctly. _____ copy has nothing to do with this. Since when you are (recasting?) the spots and holes in the inside of the body would of course be copied as well since it's in the origional body.

여자분인지 남자분인지는 알아서 판단하시기 바라며, 인형은 금형으로는 표현하기에 힘든 섬세한 형태를 한 것이 많으며 금형비를 감당할만큼 대량으로 뽑아내지 않아서 실리콘으로 틀을 만들어 복제합니다. 그것을 실리콘 복제라고하구요.^^물론 인형의 주제가 실리콘이 되는 것이 아닙니다. 복제시 실리콘틀에 우레탄을 흘려넣어 복제하는 것이지요. 참, 그리고 저도 학교다닐 때 기술은 배웠습니다.^^


Why don't you figure out if i'm a girl or a guy, and BJD is made out of something that can not be explain in metal work, in very delicate way ______-something something i don't get______ and can not be made in masses like metal, and is made out of silicon and copied. This is called silicon copy ^^ of course, the topic is about the dolls, not silicons. and when making recasts you use silicon _____ something)_____ to make a copy.

Oh and by the way, when i was in school, I learned how to work with resin and recasting.

my gaps have to do with industry and tech words. i'm sure i know them in ENGLISh, not korean XD i went to korean school in elementry. but i moved to USA in 3rd grade. so... erm yeah. ^^;;;

I would think that the point of Dollshe being angry is not the fact there is another 70cm doll, it is the fact that they are similar and have similar mistakes.
No, he does not have to compete; but if it turns out that Dollmore copied the moulds then it would have been that those people would bought the Dollmore doll might have chosen Dollshe instead. So it is money out of Dollshe's pocket.
I don't see how it is a shame that Dollshe feels that their dolls have been copied. =( I'm sure if someone copied your photostories, you'd feel cheated as well.

Though you sure seem to have a lot of knowledge, you don't seem to have much knowledge regarding BJD ____________ and you don't even seem to have basic manners ^^ I also do not have anything further to say, so I will end my conversation with Lor Jmin1997-sama as well ^^

This is sad...I wanted a Kyle. After this I'm not sure how i feel about getting one. It's silly how people will convict DZ on less than half this evidense, but when a 'better' version comes out they suddenly have to defend it. The chest piece is the same, the markings inside are damning. I think Dollmore has taken a Hound body and altered it to improve on it. I can't count how many times I've heard (or said myself) that Hounds are annoying to stand, and that their slouchyness is a bother. And the hipthrusting? Plus the complaints about the leg proportion (thighs too long).

Honestly? I like the Dollmore body better. They made necessary improvements. However, I can't condone such a blatant copy. It's obvious from the inner marks that they were originally cast using the same mold, then modified.

Hopefully Dollmore will be coming out with a beefier body that in no way looks like Dollshe's body. Both because I desperatly want one, and because I hope they realize thier mistake.

 

I think that the person in that quote (I understand you're just translating, Rukawagf) is mistaking *silicon* and *silicone* . . . most BJD molds are made from silicone, which has a much lower melting point.

And . . . I have to agree with Mr. Dollshe . . . you wouldn't get those indentations from the core mold unless you'd taken a mold of the Dollshe torso and used it as a basis for the sculpt -- in my opinion/experience.
