The Dollshe side of the Dollshe/Dollmore copy issue *translated statement page 27*

How sad that this is really happening, but does Mr.Dollshe have a patent on his original doll designs? IF the answer is NO then making a 70cm doll no matter what company can copy all they want and make improvements to the original design to fit that companies needs. My husband said it best 'it maybe his idea and design, but you have to have a patent so your idea and design does not get stolen'. I still love Hound and I like the Model doll too.

 

Doesn't mean you know how Gayle feels. So you saying Gayle was overemotional when you really don't know how the person was feeling was really rude.

 

that sounds like a great idea. we all understand that a lot of us are siding with dollshe or dollmore or just staying neutral to see what the tide flows towards.

i know Sabrielle is waiting for mail from Mr.dollshe and tenisiya, they both said they will get back to her.


and we also should wait for dollmore's responce as well. maybe they can get someone who really knows resin and explain. i think mostly, they are having trouble since it's a complicated science words that needs to be translated.... and obviously i suck XD no really

until then... .though.... i think mostly ppl are writing their opinion down to see a poll of who's supporting who, and counting who's group has larger members

i don't think there's nothing wrong with that, counting sides or saying their opinions. as long as no bashing is involved

 

I can't argue your point, but I'm more inclined to believe photos that have better lighting, better quality, and obviously more thought put into it to prove their point. With photos that badly done, I can't help but wonder *why* they're in that condition. If you have nothing to hide, or distort, the pictures will be clear.

 

I'm sure she was making that assessment by the way Gayle worded her posts. Writing is the language of the soul, you know.

 

i dunno... i think a few "bad lighting" ones are actually dollshes. since i can read them.

they are not always on the left or the right.

Look i can see where SOME parts of the doll WAS copyed yet moded afterwards. Those bubbles and marking on the inside are just to close for me.

But I KNOW that illegal actions are going to be hard pressed... I mean when Laidoll copied Luts outfits ( the one for a girl with black wings) Luts did not try to take illegal actions. Now as koran polices might be different from America I still cant see where Dollshe has to much ground on this...

 

Wow, talk about cutting corners to produce a doll...starting out with something that has already been created (by Kim Kiyong), then make a few little changes, and bam! Instant new doll to make money off of.

I think he is totally right to pursue this. They stole his mold, obviously copied it to get something the easy way, then modified it. It's out and out stealing.

Kinda makes you sick doesn't it?

 

Here's an idea for everyone...

Who here has a Hound and say...Dollmore Dean? Or any of the Dollmore dolls previous to Kyle?

What I'm curious about is how differentiated that these dolls are from Kyle. Something I've picked up is that several dolls of the same line can sometimes share characteristics with one another, even at different sizes. How different is Kyle from the rest of his Dollmore-released cousins?

This could be a very dumb idea, but at the same time, perhaps it might not be. *shrug*

 

I think this is horrible I was going to get a kyle from dollmore but now I'm not because even I can see how it was copied the insides and the outsides are almost identical!!

I feel horri8ble for mr.dolshe because hid dolls are lovely and its horrible that dollmore made such an obvious cobpy!!

 

I worked in the fashion industry, and i'm a fashion design graduate. You can't copyright clothing. That's why as soon as a dress hits the red carpet, there are 10,000 different companies reproducing those dresses within days, to sell. And they can get away with it. It's a knock-off for sure, but they can't sue. EDIT::: ((and I mean for clothing knock-offs)). BTW, that's also why you see purses knock-ed off too. The only way they can sue, is if the brand is knocked off. I.E as in Louis Vuitton copies.

Well People do it all the time, take some thing from some where and mod it and call it thier own, the dolls look totally different from one another. I feel Mr. Dollshe will have no standing grounds in this case.... Even if Dollmore used one or 2 peices as a base model to start from, Dollshe cant prove this was done with the full doll.

The fact that its so changed and Mr.Dollshe without a patiant ( I think he dose not have one for 70cm dolls) Its going to be hard to bring illegal action... and kyle is a 71cm doll at that...

If you don't want your ideas and designs stolen or copied you must have a patent and there is also a international patent too if Mr. Dollshe wants to stop other companies from copying his dolls.

Well, if a head is sculpted over and modded and sold, is it considered the same thing as what is going on with the body here? I mean, when you look at it without dissecting it, it isn't so easy to say "Oh, what a perfect copy!"

right?

 

I'm sorry; it's an obvious copy. The imperfections on the inside of the body are in the same exact place! They made some external changes but you can interchange the arms, legs, and head. If it was sculpted by hand and not an obvious copy there is no way you could interchange parts.

 

I would like to know also... If I get the Model Boy will it be permitted to have pictures of him... I love the way the body poses... I love Kyle's face.. I LOVE my Russell too. I would love them equally... I hope this gets cleared up!
