1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Yes... xD; I take C along quite often considering his size. Neither his size nor his weight is a problem to me, not having a proper doll carrier is my only deal breaker as I have to curl him up in a fetal position in my bags to fit him and that's often quite the ordeal... I'm not looking forward to carrying around the 80cm giant I'm planning to add to my collection though...

    2. My heaviest will be from soomid line...I won't bring them outside until I get a carrier bag to bring T-T

    3. My largest is still small - a DT Seola 7 who's about 42cm. I think that's about the biggest I'd want to carry around.

    4. My bigger dolls are actually 3 similar-sized MSD, (45-46 cm) so not really big ones XD But still I never carried one with me since they came home. Mainly because I never had a chance to go to a doll meeting or an outside photoshot. I'm going to go meeting some friends next week, and in order to do so doing a long train and bus travel, but to not make my life harder I'll take with me my only tiny doll and put him in a sunglass case in my bag XD

    5. My largest and heaviest doll now is my IOS Lacrimosa which arrived 2 weeks ago. :) I'm now waiting to get his head back from a face up artist and I guess next year I will try to carry him outside with me once.

    6. I used to own a Ringdoll Sol, but he was so big and heavy that I never brought him anywhere. I eventually sold him because of this. Now the biggest doll I own is a Sadol Yena, who is 1/3. She's still kinda heavy, but I can somewhat manage to bring her to doll meets once in a while.

    7. My biggest is my Iplehouse EID, and he's just so heavy and hard to manage that he never goes out with me. I used to take my Dollshe boy out, but even he's a bit leggy and hard to carry. I love taking my 60cm dolls out with me, they just carry so nicely in the crook of an arm.

I actually don't really like to take my 42cm dolls or my tinies out so much unless I have a big purse or tote bag. They're small enough to be awkward for me.

    8. My largest/heaviest doll is a 1/2 scale Angel of Dream Bo, and I've taken him traveling with me twice. Once was for a meetup, and he was packed into a large suitcase with three other dolls (it was terribly awkward to carry around--thank goodness we weren't parked far from the meet space). The meetup was in Wisconsin, and he actually had to go all the way to Florida with me before-hand. He spent most of the time on a shelf at the house we were staying in though; I didn't venture to take him out since we were at Disney World almost every day.

The second time was supposed to be for a photoshoot on my college campus. I carried him in my arms from the parking lot to the building where the photo studio was, and when my partner and I got there, we couldn't get in because it was a holiday and the building was locked. We tried getting in with our student IDs, and that didn't work. I wound up holding him for about fifteen minutes straight while we tried to get in, and it got miserable pretty fast.

From this point on, I don't think I'll take him out until I absolutely have to. He's just too heavy for me to comfortably carry around for any long period of time, and him being half my height doesn't really help either.

    9. While I don't personally own any big dolls, I've handled both SD and larger and this is a big reason why I plan to stick to MSD sized dolls for the most part. I have a perfect MSD carrier, and portability is a really important thing for me. Taking them around and doing outdoor photoshoots is a big part of what's fun for me about BJD's and if a doll is too big for me to carry around comfortably, I don't think there would be much point for me.

    10. At 72cm and weighing in at nearly 3kg, Gabriel (IMPL Gnaeus) is my biggest. I drag him around everywhere. I even travelled with him to Moncton by bus and to Toronto by plane & bus this year. :)
