1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Wow, that pic looks so awesome! The detailing on his faceup and body is very well done!

    3. Woha. Nice! Finally get to see the lovely coloring of that pony-butt :D I love the dots, @Roterwolkenvogel.
Also, he looks RAWR! Which I rather like ;)

Totally not rawr is what my new arrival of today is gonna be.
I got a Loongsoul Eloise pegasus today. I intend to make it male pegasus and likely in shades of the rainbow :3
Since there aren't that many LS pegasi out there, here's one of the pics I took of mine:

I decided not to use the more fragile extra-bits underneat the wings, especially since I want mine to be a boy at the end.

This is kinda my concept idea, minus the thread-like feather bits under the wings: Rainbow colors concept for Loongsoul MSD pegasus

    4. He's fantastic, @Snowy . Love your concept, too.

    5. After having her months without a faceup I finally managed to finish my Yuls Faceup and eyes.
Now she needs some clothes and then she will be done

    6. Thank you

I could make a pic in natural light. I love her ears so much *-*

I tried a pattern for a top that is easy to dress without pulling it over the huge ears or the horse body ^^ Worked well. Hope i can make pics soon

    7. Because of getting this request a few times now and had some spare time, I did a quick comparisson shot between my Luts Satyros Yul and my Loongsoul Eloise.

      [IMG]centaurs_Luts-Yul_Loongsoul-Eloise-side by Wildcard_Snowy, auf Flickr

      Here's a pic from the front: centaurs_Luts-Yul_Loongsoul-Eloise-front
      And one from back: centaurs_Luts-Yul_Loongsoul-Eloise-back

Obviously the LS is slimer and has a more 'fragile' apperance.
What I find interesting is that their 'cenatur body' has nearly the same heigh, but LS looses size when it comes to the human upper body. Also, Eloise's body has quite the arch in her default pose.

Despite Loongsoul usually being the better poser when it comes to bodies (I have SD and MSD bodies from them), in this case Luts wins, as no matter how I tried, I couldn't get the LS one to stand on his hind legs only.
I might require some more time and patience, but as of now, it doesn't work, while with Yul, aka Maloki, I never had that problem.

    8. Well, they're both amazing to look at. Eloise looks so elegant and detailed.

    9. Snowy - Wow- thanks for the pictures!! Eloise actually doesn't look to bad with the Luts body.

How difficult is it to order for Loongsoul ? (asking for a pal who loves Eloise). Did you do direct or with a dealer? I've never ordered from LS, so I'm unsure how to.

    10. @Snowy -- wow, they look great together, even though they are so different. I love the contrast, in color and styling. --and now you've got me wanting BOTH of those fantastic sculpts!!! :sweat

    11. @brightberry: I totally agree. I'm glad they work out together, unlike the Impldeer, where the animal body is way shorter and the upper body can't really make up for it :\

@elf-ears No problem at all :)
I actually rathere like the difference, as it makes clear they are the same 'base race' - centaur - but are different sub-races - satyros and unicorn/pegasus.

Actually in Eloise's case I did not order at all, but got lucky on the MP. I admit right now I do not have the patience for the waiting times of LS, thought they aren't THAT long.

I have ordered LS dolls before thought and always went through jeeryama (on ebay), because I have the best experience with her as a retailer. Also, I feel her waiting times are shorter than with other retailers.

@april Thank you. I actually feel a bit sorry I didn't get around working on Eloise much so far (the head is modded btw - eyes opened wider and cheeks sanded down), but I have plans on changing that, now that the weather is starting to get warmer and better.

I'll be honest and admit that Eloise's head is not quite my taste, but other than that, the concept is awesome.
Yul on the other hand I'd TOTALLY without restrain recommend. I adore my long eared satyros so much -^3^-

    12. Yul is amazing!!! :thumbup --I wouldn't have thought Eloise would be as appealing as that--but I really like the whole sculpt now that I see your photos!

    13. Oh man, all these pretty centaurs are making me envious :o I still have my Luts Satyresse body, but I didn't like the head and can't find one to replace it, so it's been lying around headless for over a year.

    14. @april Go. get. some. centaurs. ;) *tempt tempt tempt*

@Praesagium What's the problem with locating another head for the body? :3 Maybe I can help? MSD is pretty much 'my' size and I've been through lots of companies that carry the size.

    15. Snowy, I have one mini centaur-- a Soom Shale--

    16. @april ... oh my... What a lovely plsuhing. What's that upper body? It doesn't look like Soom. Also love the white dots on his butt -^^-

But... O.o Do you mean to say he's the only one of his kind? He needs companions XD centaurs prefer to be a HORDE!!!! ;9

So there. You NEED at least one more :3

    17. @Snowy -- I painted little snowflake-like spots on his back and blushed him (he had the worst seams on his body that I've ever seen on a doll--so it's good he wasn't blushed by the company! --faceup is Soom). There were a number of Shales and Adamellis in pink, blue... and white? They were a Christmas kit a few years ago... and Soom also released a strung, fullset version. --But I don't see a LOT of mini centaurs of any kind around, so maybe they just seem rare?

      Fullset outfit--

    18. @april In the back of my mind I think I dimly remember something like that. They didn't really leave an impression upon me back then thought.
Shale is probably the only MSD sculpt of Soom that I adored, but their lack of good posing and the seam lines scared me off.

I'd also assume it takes a while for ppl to style their centaurs and dress them accordingly. Or maybe they are just shy :3
Centaurs are certainly a step up in the challenge of BJD style- and dressing section ^^°
