1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

The really teeny tiny, are they worth it?

Jul 29, 2012

    1. I love tinies because you can carry them around easily. On the other hand I have no experience of any BJD doll, as I am trying to find one and save up enough to one I can afford. I am very fond of the real pukis and pukifee Ante.

    2. Definitely interesting to go through. This definitely makes me re-consider. Personally though, I prefer mature tiny, rather than the more child-like ones, So I haven't really seen a lot I was tempted to purchase anyway. I do think I would worry about loosing the doll though, since they can be extremely small, and probably easy to get crushed by something if a person wasn't paying attention. If there was some super amazing nicely bodied tiny, I might seriously consider, but I haven't seen one yet. Though that doesn't mean others aren't nice either, I just prefer a different look.

    3. Thats true...never seen that either. Wonder why?
Once I get mine, I plan on keeping it in a hard case for glasses. Lined with something soft and light so it wont get damaged.

    4. I love tiny dolls! They're easy to carry around with you wherever you go if you can't take a larger doll, and just generally the cutest things ever. So yeah, I would say they're worth every penny.

    5. I love the detail and craftsmanship on tiny dolls. I recently saw a fairy doll, 8cm high and it was gorgeous! However, it was the same price as my MSD! O___o I'm not saying they are not worth the price, but they are impractical for my needs. I do admire how tiny the artist was able to work at though :)

    6. I don't have any resin dolls smaller than 25cm myself but I really love to see others' itty bittys. I'd likely get a 15cm strung resin dollhouse lady at some point. So far I'm happy with my plastic ones in this size though. One of my smallest dolls was more expensive than many other larger dolls in my collex including a couple of my 1/3...but she's a bit special so price-wise, bigger isn't always better or cheaper for me. It's more about each doll and the reasons I want them than whether they are larger/smaller, spendier/cheaper than others.

    7. I don't have a tiny doll yet.But i have thought this one through. And i think they are DEFINITELY WORTH it,they do have limitations, but for a simple doll i want in the BG as a small character of mine,i would go for it!^^

    8. I have never handled a smaller doll, so I have no idea what they're really like, but the price kinda displeases me. They are very cute though.

    9. I've got 8 Realpukis and I have the most fun with their small size. Tinies are awesome! I like their little clothes, shoes and all stuff and how portable they are, too.
As for the price - they are worth it!
