Just got a balance due notification from Moonlight as the dolls are close to finishing.

This is surprising since these dolls usually take 6 months to make (the last domestic order took 6 months) and its not quite 3 months since the close of the preorder. I've bought a few clothing/accessories from Moonlight before (when I can't find them anywhere else) they usually ship pretty soon after sending balance due within a week tbh. Unsure about dolls though if they actually have the dolls in hand or if they are still a few weeks out I legit thought I wouldn't be seeing these dolls until July/August though so pleasantly surprised.

Also, it makes me wonder if it means there'd be an international sale of the new body soon? That would be a new threat for my wallet...

 

I have a question, these dolls tend to have very big chests.
So I done my research and it has been almost impossible for me to find clothes to buy that will fit dolls like this one.
Do you guys have any recommendations on where to find clothes for big chested boys?

 

Taobao would be your best bet. Christina from NewClover-Singing sometimes carries clothes from Taobao sellers, or will purchase things for you off of Taobao for a fee. You could also use an agent like Bhiner to order things from Taobao.

If you check back on the previous page both RebelViva and I have a list and links to TB sellers who sell clothes for the larger male doll bodies.

Hey guys the domestic sale is on May 10th @ 8pm GMT+8, not much notice the dolls just went up on the site today (I got a notification from Weidian on my phone this morning).

Sun will be offered in 3 colors, white, general and new milk tea skin (limited milk tea quantities). Bar (white), Monsoon (general), Eagle (Beach), YeYou (tan) will also be available. Note this is a 5 MINUTE SALE so gives little time to organize an agent or get funds together although she is allowing deposits 2000CN for body and 100CN for hands.

ETA -- Moonlight said we should be getting shipping quotes at the end of the month.

Wanted to report that I just got a shipping soon notice for my Bronze Eagle I purchased at the end of January from MoonlightBJD. Shipping to the US with DHL was $150.

I got mine too! Ye You to Singapore (SouthEast Asia) via EMS $100/ CPA $75!

 

Got mine too! I will go with the DHL option to the states which is shipping each doll separately at @$150 each. Shipping them both together CPA is $265. Definitely worth paying the extra $35 and getting them in a week vs 3 weeks even if they will ship separate.

This shipping costs isn’t too bad really at all. Paying around the same for Soom.

 

My normal Bar was delivered on thursday! I ordered through Luts bc they seemed to have extra stock after the preorder ended, and he was shipped via EMS, but arrived in 3 days which i was very impressed with!

It's $205 for EMS to Australia, quite a high price but I'm still deciding between CPA $125 and EMS because the price difference is huge. Plus I'll be on holiday next month, I'm afraid that if the doll is damaged I won't be able to do anything sadly.

 

I got shipping notice, too! Mine is $170 for EMS to EU. I usually pay this much for Ringdoll so it's totally correct.
I wasn't offered DHL, but I guess it might depend on the country...

Just a reminder for everyone to film box openings even if you don’t plan on posting them because Moonlight won’t do anything about damages if you don’t film the box opening! But hoping that isn’t necessary and everyone’s dolls arrive safely!

Can anyone help with the Eagle eyes size?

 

I'm pretty sure that the one Yuki's using for all of their dolls is 14/5. I brought this size as well for my eagle.

 

I also use 14mm small iris eyes on mine, although I only have Ye You and Bar, not Eagle.

 

I asked Yuki last year on IG she said 14/5 (shes been nice and has answered a lot of my questions). I tend to go 14/5 or max 14/6. The eyes are very narrow on Ying/eagle so if you want to see the iris 14/5 is best.

 

My Bar should be on the way soon and I need to find him a wig. What size wig does he need? Any recommendations on where to buy wigs? Thanks!

 

@onlytheocean They wear 8-9in wigs the heads are rather small around 8.5 lol. I use wig caps and never had an issue with anything not fitting them in that size. I usually order custom wigs nowadays or from sellers who do time limited orders but Muuuu is a good place to get styled wigs and they have open orders.
