  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I dream of doll eyes at night. At work, I have a co-worker who looks a lot like my Mir by Elfdoll, luckily he is not in my work area very often, because I can't help but gasp slightly and giggle every time I see him! It just strikes me so funny. When ever I see someone in a particularly attractive outfit, I think, that would look great on my doll! I am starting to do the same thing with shoes and jewelry.

    2. Some manga styles (especially manhwa) kinda remind me of some doll's eyes and Kamijo and Teru from Versailles also look like they're wearing bjd style clothes (and hair~) but I've known those things before bjds so when I found a picture of a doll, I was like "Omigod! Manga and Versailles put together!" Also, every time I see fur (if its quite long) , I think of some of the wigs...

    3. Pretty much anything that I find in a craft store >.>

      I have a horrible habit of walking into a craft store, forgetting why I am actually there and start looking around for my doll.

    4. I'm not so much reminded of dolls by things as I am constantly trying to make everything I come across useful in some kind of dolly way. I see a box and i'm like "I could put dolly stuff in there!" I saw a sewing machine bag and I was all "I wonder if my dolls could fit in that?" That pretty much happens to me everywhere I go :|

I am not a doll-faced person, but... if you wear a lot of black & boots & stripy tights, and/or occasionally shop at the Naoto store, anybody can end up looking kinda like DollHeart dressed you. Apparently, even non-doll-people can spot this. At one meetup in Golden Gate Park, I dozed off next to my dolls under a tree (read: ate 6 pieces of baklava and needed a nap). While I was dozing, some passersby stopped to check us out, as usually happens... I woke up to a man's voice calling, "Look, honey-- this one's life-sized!" :lol:

    7. I can't point at one thing that I know makes me think about my dolls.

      Often it is music.. I hear a song and it makes me want to write a story about them, take pictures or make photostories..

    10. OMG YES! I was like "omg he'd be the cutest doll!!!! I think I should make someone based off of his looks...."

      Or when I'm at the post office I'm like "wow these people have a lot of doll stuff in there"... *remembers it's just me*....

      I have a playlist on my itunes that is songs that relate to my dolls "stories" so that. Also I tend to dream about being online and finding a perfect sculpt or outfit. Oh and some peoples hair that I look at I just think "gee why cant that be a wig???"

    12. I'm also subject to the random craft store crazes where something leaps out at me.
      Stretch shiny green crocodile print fabric, it has to be good for something, right??
      I also ride public transit, where I see people who strongly remind me of dolls that belong to other folks.
      Sometimes this is because of the way they dress (tats, piercings, and skull hoodies with b/w stripe stockings, yep, but I don't think I've ever seen a loligoth gal around here, as yet, just a few cheerful rainbow-gothy-y sorts). Other times it's because their proportions remind me of pictures where doll folks are trying out hybrids where either the head or the body is too big, or they really deserve a better wig, or some good shoes to go with their wonderful outfit Yes, that is my critical eye noting that another human being is not of the usual and expected proportions. (Whenever I become aware that they are getting funny looks, I make an effort to smile and greet them.) I also see folks whose facial features remind me of older, very distinctive classic doll sculpts, like some of the LUTS girls with the big eyes, and some of the skinny 70 cm guy dolls with substantial noses. It's hard to forget a profile like that! I don't think I've ever run into a Mir doll lookalike, not quite, but I'd remember it!

    13. wow. dredging this old post back up lol XD;;; okay....so like, a LOT of kpop guys remind me of dolls eAe Kevin of U-KISS especially! ugh why kevin whyyyyyyyyyyy you're prettier then me and I'm a girl!

      Seriously though, Kevin's just so tall and thin and well...petite i guess in his proportions that he looks just like a doll!
      (He's the one pretending to be 'Jessica' and YES i assure you he IS a boy. even if he doesn't look like it OTL)

    14. lol by this point it's basically me posting here. oh well... but today i found this! Apparently one of my newer favorite series had a book cover that used BJDs! They're really pretty too ;v; Also I believe that the pictures are for the spanish versions of the book, but a fan pasted the english tiles over the pictures.

    16. I've always thought Iplehouse Bibiane's B type makeup reminds me of Lana Del Rey for some reason :sweat - Generally I think about them when I see something I think will be the right size for them, sometimes in the weirdest of shops too.
