Here she is wearing bratz clothing. The jacket of the outfit didn't fit. Those hands are just too big.


Here I found out she just is a natural highlander. XDI blame the hair. It is just such a natural reddish brown.

I had Carrie wire my Moona before she sent her to me. She stands like a gem. She won't stand in some of the shoes I have for her, but others are fine.

So many gorgeous Moonas... really feeling like I need large Moona. I just had bd, so is that a good excuse.

Motherofpearlz, Simbelmyne is a very pretty girl. That red hair is fab on her, and it matches her dress so well.

Sandraugiga, more red hair... I love it on her! Twinkle does look very Scottish with her plaid.

sandraugiga, your girl is a natural Scot, such a pretty outfit, too. Great job on her kilt.

 

Sandraugiga - Twinkle is just lovely! She looks adorable as a scottish lass, I love her little kilt! I wasn't entirely sure what her wig would look like with green tips but it's actually really pretty and accentuates the little curls on the end.

Gracie, Aeilia, winternight - Thankyou so much. I just love her, I got a little parcel of This is Blythe clothes in the mail yesterday. Had a small heartstopping moment where I wondered if it was my Puki until I picked it up and discovered that the parcel was squishy and not from Korea. *lol* Oh well, it was another excuse for a photo shoot. *lol* Flickr's going to love me! hehe

 

I've been trying to order from this is blythe but the connection to their server keeps timing out on me...rats!

But I did get Umoja a lovely Sugar Mag dress that Nuri won't even go near

 

Ack! All of the sweet Moonas on this thread make me want mine RIGHT NOW! I still can't decide which color resin I like best. I'm horribly indecisive about things like that!

And just to be sure, she can wear Blythe clothes, correct?

 

Yep! She's even smaller than Nuri who fits everything (PpoPpo)

 

That's a shame about the This is Blythe server. Their clothes are gorgeous!

Landlocked Mermaid - Yup she definitely can. I bought a small parcel of clothes from This is Blythe and she fits into everything. One dress was a little snug to do up with the velcro across her shoulder blades but it still did up just fine which was a relief because it was my favourite on her. Oh and just watch for sleeves because her hands are wider and it can be fun (NOT) trying to get her hands thru sleeves that are too narrow.

I ummed and ahhed about resin colour too and finally went with white. I love white dolls. I'm hoping to get large dark tan Mina when Carrie gets her in, I've been wanting a brown doll for awhile they are so beautiful.

 

Yeah i'm waiting for my dk tan moona, my lt tan bei and i have a ns PpoPpo And a WS Puki...and going to have a pig Puki in addition to my kitty one.

Ooo you lucky duck! I have a Puki Pipi on the way. Hopefully next week as they've told me she's been shipped and as I'm in Australia it doesn't take long for us to get parcels from Korea.

At the moment I'm trying to be good and not buy a thing more until I save up enough for when Latidoll opens again for business. So no going near ebay. *lol* Even though I want to go crazy buying some more of those wonderful boots for Simbelmyne.

 

Thanks for the heads-up about the hands...I have another doll like that and I can usually work her hands through the sleeves but it takes some effort! I'm kind of leaning towards the white resin too-l like the contrast of very pale skin and a very dark wig color. When I first got into BJD's my preference was for normal skin color, but now I find that I really like the white resin the best.

I have a mer-mina and I adore her. And her tinybear wig is THE BEST! It's so soft and fluffy.

It is not a dumb question if I mistakenly do not use the proper word for it. I thought it might be named the same in english but it is a wire equipment with a foot that allows the doll to stand like this.

What is the english word for it?

 

I would call it a "stand", so not too different!
I thought that was what you meant by "standard" and from the pictures, that's what it is.
