Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       I too want to attempt hot glue sueding (I got the gun and glue and everything). I have a Minoruworld Leila, my Clara, who the original owner hot glued and she is fabulous.

      ReinedelaSeine14, I LOVE your girl! So cute! Is she going to stay bald to show off those amazing ears? I didn't realize you are in CT, I thought you lived somewhere exotic. Maybe our girls can meet someday!

    2. She seems to be rejecting the idea of a wig right now but I did find two I'd like to try.

      I'm going to try hot glue sueding mine too because I seriously can't get her to stand...her left is loose and her right is tight...and she keeps bending at the pelvis...i'm hoping a very THIN layer will give some sort of grip.

      She doesn't like Nuri's clothes...she wants her own!

    5. Yeah all I did was put a nail sticker on her ear...I can get it off if I want to. I took the jewel off her forehead :)

    6. I restrung my tiny Bracken the other day ...I tried silicone glue suedeing ...not the best idea I have ever had ...took forever to dry and still feels weird
      but the difference was dramatic ...i

    9. oh it's when you put hot glue inside of the joints...and the stickiness of the glue helps the doll pose better while still being able to move.

    11. Oy...I can't bond with her...in fact having her around makes me bond with my PpoPpo MORE!

      I'm disappointed becasue I waited so long and I bet Carrie was contemplating filing harassment charges against me :lol: but I just can't get used to her body.

      It does not mean though that I won't LOVE pics of other people's Moonas!!! Keep those coming! :D

    12. Aww that's a shame Reine, I love mine I just find it beyond frustrating to try to pose her. Hot glue sueding sounds intriguing. I'm all for better posing! I love Moona's body, it's so lanky that she's almost geeky but in a charming way. I would also love it if Carrie brought out a body inbetween Moona and Coco's. I adore Coco's face but not her body.

      Nataluna, thankyou and don't worry I'm not touching my Moona with glue. *insert horrified gasp* I haven't even been brave enough to change her eyes yet. *lolol*

    13. haha kind of like that Puki I glued together? Don't use superglue on your doll's joints...they WILL stick and NOT come apart.

      I posted pics in the comparison thread...my PpoPpo while skinny on top has girth in her hips and stuff and looks kind of like I do. Moona though is too skinny and I'm not happy to say I've looked like that too...and still struggle with it.

      I'm CERTAIN there will be someone that is going OMG I missed it? right now and will see mine and be all happy dancy giggly about it.

      Although...I also have an incoming Bei. Curious to see how they'd look...I tried to put on Barbie pants on my Moona but it reminds me of the time I tried to put my mom's pants on and it was just like ... noooooo...

    14. Her clothes still aren't here yet, but I did have one wig I got for her. Here she is in the pretty pink wig she came with:

    17. It was that way for me too, until I got that standard for her and made her some clothes and gave her a "dramatic" face up. Actually the more I do for her the more she becomes that little flowery hippie girl I wanted.

      Sometimes a bond takes time to grow. Give it some time.

      I would love to see more customised Moona

      I got to admit ..large Moona ..came a bit through preasure
      I got so many people asking for her ....when I got her it was like ..Ok ..she is nice ..but I perfere the tiny one

      But now ..I really like her ...I play with my own a lot ..I find I have more of these which are "mine"
      a dark tan , light tan ..normal , lilac and green

      I like sourceing for her ...I like making for her ..so she has really grown on me
      I love the variety of eyes I can get for her ..and the shoes ..Im an Ixtee Junkie LOL

      and I cant wait for the Mina ..my Kids (real ones, when they were tiny ) were very tall and skinny , boney legs ...and long necks LOL .( and sticky out ears shhhhhhh )
      Mina will remind me so much of them ! ..like a young Faun I always described them

      I keep looking at all of the Sugar Mag clothes that she will fit
      and Im knitting for her ..takes ages ..but Oh I love lace cotton
