Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.       I would definately have another doll in this resin colour and would recommend it to anyone, it's quite soft in the way that snow laden clouds have a slight warm brown/purple tint to them just before the snow falls.
      It works very well with muted colours like moss or olive greens, dusky rose, clover purples and with yellow tinted greens like apple, or lime. Pure pigments are just too harsh to be used in large amounts near it as too my eyes they would drown the delicate subtle colour.
      Having said that some folk have managed to balance it well.

      Ooh, those are some nice names...I quite like Viola for her but may well use one of the others for my blue CoCo who has purple hair and a blue/purple themed face-up. Thanks for those hun :D

    3. Blod - What have you used on her eyes to give a shimmer? I'd like to do something like that with Berry (Coco) .. when she's whole again!!

      I really really love the lilac colour, I might think about getting a doll in that resin :aheartbea

    4. I used some iridescent watercolour paints I bought from a craft shop. They came in a pack of 6, made by LuminArte'.
      They also do powders as well which would be better for large areas.
      As her eyelids are very narrow I used a thin brush and painted a light layer of the green on the upper lid and the red on the inner corners and under the eye. I then once the paint was dry glossed on top of that.
      These paints are ok for precise or narrow areas but are easy to overdo.

      A lot of people use PearlEx powders or the ones you can get from Volks (can't remember the name). Powders would give a much softer nicer finish.

    7. Oh this is so frustrating. I bought a boy for my Choa and he arrived while we were camping at Disney. I was so excited to have him and immediately made a couple of fur wigs for him and then started looking for patterns for some clothes. Well, the dear boy has sat here for two weeks now stark naked because I made the mistake of glancing over at my sweet Noel looking so cute by my computer and started heading back to ebay to look for more clothes and shoes for her. My daughter is wondering if I am ever going to clothe this boy and all I can do is search for things for Noel! I think it is hopeless, Carrie, your girls just steal one's heart.

    8. Noel wanted to show off her latest outfit she got in yesterday. One day I am going to have to do a modeling shot with her. I changed her wig to the LE one I got from Carrie when DH bought Noel for me at Christmas. I just love this little girl! (Please excuse all the oak pollen on the table. It is the worst it has been in years down here and even thought you clean something outside off, in a couple of hours it has oak pollen all over it again.)

      Sandraugiga, I got the outfit on ebay. It is a Sugar Mag I think. The shoes came from one of the Girls of Many Lands Kish dolls that American Girl sold a few years back. This particular set of shoes came from the Chinese doll. I think you can still find them on ebay. The dolls are gorgeous.

    16. I have just had news from Dennis ..and the first fuzzy pictures of large Mina ...WOW oh WOW
      she is just what I Imagined ..and the large Bracken Body is done they have almost finished the head
