Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I did post somewhere else as I did not know of this thread but I have to share ( thanks to to tinybear) but I just bought a large bracken on etsy and way beyond excited!!:smallcake cakes all round yay.
      He is my first tiny doll, the others are 43cm and I.m looking forward to christmas and birthdays! as I think I need some more of the moonas and brier roses etc.

      I have to say that these dolls are my absolute favourites, I have spent more hours than I really want to admit to on forums and shop sites researching and talkling about bjd's in the last few weeks.:D
      Iit is only a month since I bought my first doll and now I am up to four (well I will be the new boy arrives).

      It is my new obsession.

    3. Oh i just have read the bit with "star" picture and I love those boots...are they hard to make ? do you have a pattern? I mean for dolls although winter slippers for me would be nice!!!

    8. Jayn, BJD's iare the most exciting and nicest thing to happen to me for a very long time! They are keeping me sane at present and the hours I spend on the forums and shops looking ang chatting is just lovely new friends real and otherwise..

      on that note have you seen the imaginary friends inCharles Creature cabinet!!! eeeeeee! want one of those but have run out of funds for a bit.

      At the moment I'm waiting for a large red Moona (Oh, and just a tiny little Bracken to squeeze in unnoticed ;)).

      Im working on some fullsets right now for then

      your Bracken is being parceled up right now ..well not right now as Im having a cup of tea ...I will take him up the post office later today .after everyone has finished collecting their benefits

      I am hopeing over the next few months to be able to concentrate on that pattern book I am writing
      the boots will be in ...the first pair I did were a bit of a pain ,inserting the sole ...but then I oversewn the tiny ones ..much easier ..and over-sewing instead of blanket stitch the waistcoat ..
      they are very basic patterns ..but decorations and fancy buttons , painting and adding embellishments
      make them special
      I cant wait ..Im dead fired up about it !
      Im double checking patterns and making sure everything goes together Ok

      nothing any more irritating as buying patterns and they dont fit right !

      Im just doing a little work on a red Moona now ..you got me wondering about wig colour

      I bought the most amazing eyes from a local eye maker ...Oh so expensive ...but OMG ..the results are haunting ..I hope to show her to you late

      :aheartbea Brackens body is maybe a fraction larger ..hands are definatly larger anad more masculine, feet are almost the same
      But he is still slender
      Mina`s head though is smaller ..she is more 4.5
      like the smaller version Mina

    11. OMG this hobby is the most wonderful and the most frustrating...I love the dolls and everything but the waiting is excruciating!! (whimpers)

      I am struggling too with a doll the just does not like my clothes I make her face up or her hair and eyes!

      But an artist friend said today" well treat her like a canvas(!!?)" and I went OMG yes!!!:doh
      having looked at the lovely full body paints done by blodeuedd, I thought I am an artist get on with it its a curvy canvas not a flat one but hey it will come of if it is c**p.:o

      I am looking forward to bracken as he is my first tiny and really looking forward to peterborough (not the dead babiy bit though...I won't look at them then they can't eat my brain.*_*

      Also tinybear the pattern book sounds great and I can't wait for those boots! simple they may be but very effective.

      will you have green or pink dolls at peterborough?

      Tinybear have you got a tiny green bracken? i have just found someone in my collection in need of a green froggy friend! Its my handmade frog in acoracle and he is about the bracken size....needs friend for fishing trips.

      How much do you charge for custom wigs? I would like a mucky dark pond/ moss green /brown with brown tips (or the other way round) and where would I get eyes to match? What size eyes do little brackens take?

      If any of the above is possible can I pick him up at Peterborough? or will it have to wait for incoming greens?

      sorry about the long list of q's and the spelling , I spilled my tea in the keyyboard and its gone all funny:doh

    15. Oh shriek! :o go on tell me how much ( holds breath) and can I pay a deposit and the rest at Peterborough or do you want it all now?

      I have a handmade frog toy( made in muddy green velvet) and he has a coracle with I might a lily pad parasol!!! and a tiny bracken as described is an essential buddy I feel. Is no fun fishing alone...

      BUT( big but) I am a little limited in funds until said doll fair and am asking very sweetly. I do understand though if you can' do that.;)

      and the red Moona with a natural wig ..this one is Tabby ,but she really suprised me ..she is amazing ...now to do a red Bracken to go with
