1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

TinyBear 10inch Moona/Mina and Bracken discussion part 1

Jun 25, 2008

    1. Carrie they are adorable! I am simply amazed at how different they look. If I didn't know better I would think they were different sculpts. Now I know I want a Moona in light tan and NS to match Noel. Hmmmm, Anniversary is next Wednesday and DH is asking what I want.......

    2. They're gorgeous, Carrie! ... love the tan one, especially.:D

    3. They are amazing. *hangs around in thread hoping for more pictures*

    4. Trust me...when Umoja finally gets here you'll get a ton of pictures from me!

      Carrie's flickr is loaded btw.

    5. I cannot wait. :D

I was thinking of getting a pullip, but you know... I think I rather save my money for this doll. What would the price be in Euro's? A calculator told me 175, would that be correct? *sweat*

    6. I always use this http://www.xe.com/ucc/
but thats about right for the normal and white resin ..coloured are a little more :chocoheart:chocoheart
Im so glad you like them ..
.I have a couple of Pullip ...if they bought out a resin one though ..I would be all over it ...love them but hate the feel of them ..they are so light and flimsy compares to resin :)

with talk of lilac Moona`s I decided to redress the lilac girl today and take some shots ..I love this resin
this is her in a monique Pinky size 5
      ..its her [IMG]
this is her in a Lati yellow wig...very vulcan

Im not used to seeing them in wigs other than my own ...but I quite like it :aheartbea

    7. Carrie did you get the dark ones yet?

Your lilac girl is awesome! i've heard they're more purple than gray in real life!

    8. Oh my goodness she is so darn cute! I love that wig on her and her dress is adorable.

    9. Thank you for the link. 175 euro sounds like a really good deal to me. Now all I have to do is get paypal. (Which might take some courage and time.:sweat ) And you will be getting an order from me. :D

She looks really cute in that simple dress. :)

Will there be more variety in heads in the future for this size of doll?

    10. There will ..Im working on Mina with the human ears now
and hopefully one day we will have a boy xx

you can do one off payments with paypal too I think..?
I have always had an account so Im not too sure ..but I think you can

    11. I'm not sure either, but I'm in the process of getting paypal now. They will need to verify that my bank account is really my bank account which will take up to a week. :sweat

*goes off to your flicker to decide if she wants an white or normal skin. *:)

    12. She looks so beautiful and whimsical Carrie. I can't wait to get my large Moona. *squirms in excitement*

      luv MOP...

    13. They look fabulous in those wigs, she has an ideal face shape for bobbed hair!

    14. I'm crawling in my skin for Umoja...waiting so patiently for Dennis to finish...

I need more Moona spam...I'm going into withdrawal...

    15. I'd be interested in seeing her in a bang-less long straight acrylic wig too. Out of interest's sake altho I dearly love her in TB's mohair wigs.

      >>>I need more Moona spam...I'm going into withdrawal...

I'm sure I'll do my fair share of spamming when I get my girl. Which reminds me..I must figure out a name.

    16. Question, how does she fit Barbie clothes? Barbie and Bratz are about the same size right? (Is totally clueless about bratz and barbie.):sweat

    17. I love this picture, she reminds me of the model Twiggy from the '60's! Only in elf version!

    18. Ive not tried Barbie clothes ..I think they are too large ...Was it Vicki that tried them ?

WinterNight I know what you mean ...I thought Twiggy too
and I can understand a little why Designers choose stick thin models to model the clothes ...on
when your making them ...they hang so beautifully on her ..and they look so natural

leggings make the legs look so lean and lovely ...I LOVE them

I have just done a Fullset Elf ...OMG ..she is to die for ...well I know they are all Elves
but she is dressed in a bright dress Pixie bonnet and felt jacket .gold boots and stripe stockings ...I loved making her up
.I will take pictures of her tommorow ..I have to get some shots of the mermaids for someone ...

    19. Ah Tinybear, I wrote in the other thread that she looks like a little scamp, ruining her good dress in a tree, LOL, but these pictures make her more feminine! What a chameleon! Either way, she is beautiful!

    20. I tried a few Barbie things on Noel and while they were a little large, you could get away with it with something like dresses and shirts. The skirts were way too large for her waist. The problem I had was her hands. Anything with a sleeve wouldn't go over Noel's hands.

I saw the Twiggy thing, too! Wouldn't it be nice if we could look like Moona with the long, thin legs and everything looks great on us?
