Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. She has Glati hooves and although she has a seperate hoof from the lower leg, it doesn't work the same as a regular foot. The s-hook is lotched inside the hoof, not neatly attached as is the case with feet. That is why hooves have the hole on the underside. I have removed and reattached her hooves before, so I know what is in store for me, and I hate doing it. xD

      Hallowie29: ah, that is a troublesome bunch indeed! Perhaps you can incorporate Iori's problem in her story, is she has one? My friend had a doll that came without ankles (she got them later) and his character is now in a wheelchair. ^.^

      Galatia9: Oh I misunderstood. xD

      Novah: maybe stringing your MNF tighter would help? You can fix the chip with epoxy perhaps?

      Ahalfling: you are right, boiling can make dents become less prominent or even remove them completely. I know the pain of too tightly strung dolls, even thoug mine can stand. I hope they become looser with time.

    2. Ah, thank you! I was working off one tutorial but yours looks more detailed, and the more sources gathered the easier it'll be, right? I'll tell myself that. And even a simple naming compliment gets me all bashful and whatnot. God, I'm a dweeb...

      re: my stringing woes - I've ordered some new elastics since I'm told company string can be pretty shoddy and I'll try stringing him up again, so we'll see how that pans out when I get it. Find out next time on: I Don't Have Enough Hands For This!

    3. Where to start with my problem children- I have 2.

      1. My CP Moon- Darrius. He was my first BJD so i guess with me being a newbie owner (way back in 2007) he was the most wicked doll. He headbutted me all the time, chipped the lens on my glasses and was in general a royal pain (even though he was properly strung!). Thus- it has come to him no longer having a body and he rarely comes out now. My Soom fantasy dolls are better behaved then he is- sheesh!

      2. My Unoa/ dikadoll/ soom marl hybrid- Theodosius- This is one of my relatively newer BJD's and he is just a menace. He loves to fall and knock his brother's down or bump into other people's dolls whenever I am at a meetup. Even though he has been modded and properly strung. It was such a bad thing that I found him a lovely very royal looking chair that he sits on whenever he is at a meetup. Problem solved. Though he is the one doll that seems to demand the most wigs ( from Monique gold) and new jewelry (made by me). Mercy....

    4. I have a tricky hybrid like that. Due to the lack of sandpaper I never finished the actual mod, and.. well... the dolly can't sit straight any more. Not that he really could to begin with. He can't stand either. I have tried re-stringing, hot glue and all just makes it worse. He's now in bits in a shoe box till I actually get sandpaper, new string and wire so I can do something about it.

    5. Oh my glob, my Souldoll Miryu is the kickiest little thing. Her feet turn up when she sits and she's a terrible stander, and not even a good sitter. I've restrung her and it didn't help. I've wired her, and somehow her whole leg joint gets caught and pushes out of place in an unnatural way....but she's pretty and I love her. :)

      My B&G Leile...the eyelashes.. Seriously. It took me 3 tries in the same day at an hour a piece. Nightmare. And her blushing keeps rubbing off in places, but she's a perfect poser and cute as can be.

    7. Mercutio, My Angell-Studio HongLee.

      He's on wig #3. He's getting more, because I still haven't found one that actually looks good on him. He's 2cm taller than the website says he is. I can't find basic shorts that fit him, so he's sitting in some pajamas he recently got tailor-made, even though he's been home since January. One day I met up with some friends for doll pics at a park. I had a really bad allergy attack, got sunscreen in my eye and while I was trying to flush it with water he threw a temper tantrum and toppled away from me. I grabbed his legs but his knees buckled and his face hit a large tree root and went flying off into the wilderness. He now has a very light scratch in his sealant.

      Actually though, now that he's in pajamas and out of the stuffy, horrible outfit he used to be in he has been much more well-behaved. I was on the verge of selling him, but we've re-bonded. I think he was trying to tell me he hated that stuffy outfit and he just wants to lounge with me. Now we like to hang out together and watch anime. He's been an adventure, but I wouldn't trade my experiences with him for anything.
