1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

U-noa 1.5 Lusis and Sist pre-order info 2011

Jan 22, 2008

    1. Yea i do see Unoa twins (or more) all over the forums even though it cost so much. I had been eyeing for an unoa for some time now, i still cant help already feel the pain im going to inflict on my pocket.Even when Unoas are within an easier reach during this time, i still questioning myself if i was ready to plonk down such a huge amount, and if i can work out any more spare funds to do up my girl..:( its so hard when im so in love with it..

small question, the orders are shipped out all at once only when production for all orders has been finished right?

    2. This is why I and so many others get ours from the market place. People say the marketplace is so high, but when you get a doll that is assembled, painted, usually they have clothes, and you do not have to wait 8 months (February wow!), the mark up is not so bad compared to the price of an unassembled kit.

Another example that I can relate to this, if I could pay a couple hundred more and get my Chrom from Soom right now with a face up and clothes and not have to wait 6 months, I totally do it and not see it as a huge mark up. People spend a lot of time waiting on their Unoas and more time assembling them and painting and getting outfits for them. Don't get me wrong, the preorders are great and I would not have my girl if someone had not bought her from one, but I don't see it as that much of a better deal than a marketplace Unoa. I think it should be less about price and more about if you want to assemble and paint your girl yourself. ^_^

    3. after all japanese and internation orders are done they are shipped off. only difference is japanese pay after the dolls are done, international buyers pay before.

japanese dolls that don't get paid for are then sold in lottery.

    4. Finally, I am so excited, I just ordered an Unoa Lusis! <3
I have been waiting a long time for a pre-order where the timing, money wise, would be good, and finally it was perfect! =D
      - I don't really mind that it takes some time before she arrives, although 8 months would be an awfully long time, or the fact that she will arrive unassembled. This gives me plenty of time to buy supplies for her faceup, practice my faceup skills on another head, and it also gives me time to save up, and purchase, all of her clothes, wigs, eyes and accesories. Also, I really feel that I have to do all the work myself on my BJDs, I always bond with them when I assemble them, give them faceups, try different clothing styles on them, etc. The fun part, for me, is to develope their looks and character myself. Especially if it's a bit challenging! =D
Oh, and congratulations to all of you who ordered, and will order, an Unoa kit! Hope you'll be as happy about it as I am! =3

    5. Wow, that's a looong wait! *_* I'm glad I got my girls when I did, the 6 month wait was torture enough! I still think it's worth ordering one if you want a Unoa though, you just need patience!

    6. good luck with that headback...

    7. I totally agree with you! See, that is what I think it is all about. Making a doll and working on it and bonding with! I think that is so much more important than the money you spend. But of course if you want a doll already put together, it is a good buy too ^_^ It should be about what the person wants, not money.

BTW Congrats to everyone getting their new girls! I am looking forward to seeing more in the Unoa Thread ;)

    8. oh i see.. thanks :)
so more orders means more wait huh?
Why is it that you guys seem rather sure that its going to be shipped out in 8 months?
Even though they said in worst case they would finish in february, are they going to really just take their time to finish the production of the orders? Is it because in the past preorders they took up the maximum waiting time they stated?

    9. bingo :) pretty much sums it up!

    10. I am having to decide on ordering either Sist or Lusis. Are they the same body but just with different face plates? Or are the bodies actually different? I would very much appreciate anyone's help with this question. Thanks!

    11. same body. lusis has more of a slack eye/sleepy eye and an open mouth.
      sist has a closed mouth.

    12. aww.. bummer.
i was really hoping that they would stick to their estimated sep-dec deliveries and get it by the end of the year:sorry. oh well, thats when my busy periods end anyway and at least i have time to save up and get everything ready.

    13. I ordered my Sist!!!!

But I think I may have messed up. I ordered, then sent the money via normal paypal route because I was too stupid(excited) at the time to see the button. I e-mailed Crescent letting them know which my account was and my order ID, I'm waiting to hear back. :/

    14. I bought my first unoa in parts first the faceplates and default hands during the preorders and then a body last year. I just didn't want to wait for it for so long. The way I got her though she didn't have default hands, was yellowed a little, didn't have any of the eye mechs, so after I paid for everything she was kind of expensive, way over kit price.

Then since I already have one I just decided to buy a new one during this preorder. I wasn't expecting 8 months though! I thought the new way of doing things was supposed to make the preorders better and maybe faster?

    15. I did it! I ordered my Lusis! I received the email from crescent, but in it they say they are going to send an email to confirm the amount? Should I wait before paying with paypal?

    16. Congratulations to everyone who is ordering. The wait is certainly long but well worth it.

    17. I got 2 different amounts to pay, the first email shows that I owe $550, the second email I got says I owe $560. I don't know which to pay *_*

    18. If you check crescentshop again it says that the dates have changed! :D
they will arrive between September and November!!

    19. I waited at first, too. Then paid when I got the e-mail. I just went into paypal and sent payment to the account Crescent gives.

I sent an e-mail with the order info(actually just replied to the one they sent) and let them know which paypal account was mine and that it had the same address to make sure. I got a confirmation e-mail late last night.

      I'm soooo excited!!!!

      :D:D:D
