U-noa 1.5 Lusis and Sist pre-order info 2011

Well... It wasn't official yet, I just paid for her (finally received the email) a couple of minutes ago. And you know how paranoiac I am so I wanted to make SURE I ordered her and it was not just my imagination.

Wolfmammy, i just added my order number to the paypal thingy, how long was it before you got the confirmation? I'll wait that long and see if I have to send an email too.

 

It was later the same day. I ordered her that afternoon(3pm) and got a reply at 9:18p.

I got an e-mail that said RE: (order#) from Crescent that said thank you for the payment, could be a long wait and they would let me know when my girl shipped!

*squeeee*

 

I ordered a Lusis just as the sale started, and some hours later I got an email from crescent shop with the total amount to pay and the paypal address. I just went to paypal, entered my (sort of) order number in the comments box, and paid. a few hours later, I received a confirmation email from crescent

I am so excited about the latest shipping estimates

 

I want to buy a Unoa Lusis, but... Crescent Shop don't lower the price on box and don't send as gift T_T Here in Brazil we have some big problem with expensive taxes T_T I don't know what to do T3T

Help???

 

My only suggestion for that type of situation would be...
If you have a friend that lives in a country that does not tax dolls have crescent send to that friends house, so that friend can mark the value down for you. You would have to pay more shipping but it wouldnt be as much as the taxes.

 

I'm thinking about my friend's parents that lives in Japan... but I don't know for sure if they can recieve my Unoa @_@ Need to talk to my friend first, but yeah... you're right, it can be much better this way.

The worst is that over $500, it gets HARDER to get my doll home T_T And I may say harder includes EXPENSIVE too =_=

Nya... But I'm so anxious to get my first Unoa! Need to find out an answer to this problem fast @_@

 

Shuga, how much would the taxes be? I only ask because even with the taxes it may still be cheaper than buying through crescent than buying on the secondary market, though I'm not really sure. Good luck. That's a difficult decision.

 

When I got my 2 girls in May 2006, added taxes were about 120 EUR for both of them.. that is like $150. O_o
But I knew it was coming, and I used the 5 months waiting time to set some money aside.
It's just.. something you can't do anything about.

 

I think that second hand it's a little more expensive than the final total... I've already thought about this and I don't like the idea =_=

Well, my itens never get taxes because I've always ask for lower price and gift, so no problems... But my friends said that the taxes are something like 60% of the price in the box, 60% from $550 >_> I'm really afraid! Things over $500 dolars no just stay at customs, but they can hold it till... don't know, monthes @_@ Long long long wait! Some friends of mine have big problems with this... T_T Sign papers, calling customs and asking for answers, going to customs to try to get the doll... Arg! It's horrible to think about...

Unoa is my dream doll... since it was the first BJD that I saw and it was love at first sight. She will be Victoria (or just Vicky), a special OC for me...
I can say that probably I would do all these customs things to get her safe at home... but safe... yeah... Customs can open the box and verify everything inside it! T_T I don't want her to get hurt T_T

I don't have anyone outside Brasil to help me T_T No friends, no family...
I feel bad asking for my friends parents to recieve her...

Do you know someone reliable to recieve her? T_T

 

May I ask, if it's okay, when you have to pay? Like as soon as you order the doll or just by the end of the preorder period or what? (I'm just signing up with Cresent Shop now.)

Also, anyone know price of a doll without option parts for U.S.?

I'm using a shopping service to order both a Lusis and Sist from the japanese pre-order ^__^
I'm a bit nervous since I have no idea of how that kind of ordering works (if someone could explain how AL handles their orders I would be grateful) ^^;

Japanese Alchemic Lab orders are like this:

1. AL makes dolls in advance
2. AL opens the order period 6/03/09
3. AL stops accepting orders 6/23/09
4. If the demand exceeds the supply a lottery is held for people who will get thier dolls right away - in case of lottery result is 6/27/09
5. You have 2 weeks to pay 6/29/09~7/10/09 *
6. They ship your purchase *

*How they used to do orders is you have 2 weeks to pay when your doll is ready but I think maybe even if you don't win the lottery you have to pay durring the payment period and your doll is shipped with when it's ready but I am unsure on that part.

 

Ne, how long does it take Cresent Shop from the time you register and mark for e-mail about unoa for them to send you the page on unoa ordering? *is edgy* Clearly patience is not my thing... ^^' I just don't wanna miss this preorder cause I missed the last two...

 

They don't send you the page you click the annoucement under the "Crescent Shop News" thats on the right hand side after you log in, the link to the shopping cart that will allow you to buy an unoa is at the bottom of that news page.

I paid for my Lusis.....now the looooooooooonnnnnnnngggggggg wait begins. She will be my 1 and only Unoa......like after 4+years waiting. Why did I wait so long in the first place?
