1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

U-noa 1.5 Lusis and Sist pre-order info 2011

Jan 22, 2008

    1. Evangelion plugsuit accessory - they have Never been sold via any preorder or early on with the 1.0 - a rare few were sold via shows araki did. Points to sig icon. Tails come with the 1.0 dolls when you ordered ear parts. I don't think they include them anymore haven't for a long time as far as I know.

    2. Wisteria....I wish you luck on the Lusis. They are amazing.

Treelore...those ears are interesting. Are they intended to look robatic? I'm soooo slow on the uptake. :) Forgive me?

      ~Meee

    3. They are meant to look like the hair thingies from the Eva pilot uniforms in the super popular anime/manga Neon Genesis Evangelion...for example: Rei Ayanami

    4. The resin head pieces are supposed to represent Rei's plug suit 'headgear' / neural interface. Rei is a character in a post-apocalyptic anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion.

edit: lindsay beat me to it.

    5. here you go: hee hee looks like you got alot of replies all at once.

    6. I believe you are talking about Acoling's unoa Sist.

He/she (I'm not really sure if Acoling is a guy or girl) also has a B-el Kaworu. Acoling's dolls were published in idoloid vista along with the pictures Araki took of the Unoa Zero. I can't post the link to Acoling's website here because it is not work safe but anyone that wants it can PM me.

    7. Congrats AmberJane!

Assembling is not too difficult... The only tricky bit is cutting the right amount of resin off gatemarks on the heel, face and thigh. The thigh is the worst cos you have to not cut off the peg. If you follow a tutorial it should be fine ^^

    8. For anyone worried about assembly - read Kittywolf's assembly guide now so you can get any tools and sandpaper you need. Between the kit's cartoon-drawing all-Japanese guide and Kittywolf's tutorial you should do fine!

    9. the parts are already up on the alchemic labo site here. Unlike last time there are no unoa 2nd horn parts, unoa girls hands and feet took their place.

    10. I posted a photo link in the Unoa discussion - it's a photo of some wide-heel mules done up - it's from Unoa Freak. Looks like you cut an insole and glue it in over some glued straps.

Here is the photo - I guess Unoa Freak has instructions or a pattern for those particular styles:

    11. I heard they come with instructions with patterns for 3 different
straps and pictures and pattern for the insole to make of leather or
fabric. You cut the insole out of leather or whatever and glue the straps to that and then you glue the insole onto the mules.

    12. Yup, they tell you how to make them but it's in Japanese. Pictures are enough, though.

Boo on no high heeled feet! :...(

    13. ' A ';||||| *jaw drops*, gosh, that's alot!!!! ....btw why would people buy mules if they can just get a complete pair of shoes for the doll with that money? It's too much effort to make mules turn into a nice pair of sandals... just my thought though....

BTW, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!!!!
I've never seen this pair of hands around!!! Why did Gentaro leave out so many optional parts for this pre-order?

    14. the mule parts were no where near as expensive when I got them, and most nice doll shoes I see are about 2/3 more what I paid for my mule parts. The appeal is the "do it yourself" aspect. You can make one of a kind shoes with them and its hardly any effort to make shoes with them since the bottom would normally be the hardest part to do.

    15. Those hands are the fabled clasping hands - they were just mentioned recently (in this thread I think) I believe they were only sold for 1.0.

Re the mule soles - it is near impossible to get heeled open toe shoes that fit Unoa properly. Even brands that usually fit Unoa fine in closed-toe can get way too long when they stick a heel on them - companies probably use the same sole that they use for closed-toe heels and have to make them extra long so the unbending foot of a BJD can get into the opening of the shoe. The closed toe can camouflage this but when you take that away you see the foot does not fill the shoe. With the mule parts it is possible to make open toe shoes that fit Unoa perfectly, match an outfit perfectly, etc.

    16. Araki discontinues or changes the option parts from time to time. Thats why the yawning face instead of the "O" face, the kitty ears without wig, and the clasping hands & high hell feet aren't on the pre order. We get the dozing faces instead though.

    17. I got my claspings on Y!J. I like putting one on each girl and have them hold hands. :D

    18. I scored one from YJ! as well. it's one of my favorite Unoa parts, and was really hoping would be released again...

I'm so glad!! I didn't forget to place order for face and hand parts! yay!!! that was close..

    19. the Japanese name for the first "O" face was "to be teased" the yawn face's Japanese name translates to "to stretch/yawn". Also on the Alchemic labo website he large bust part is simply "large bust part" not large "milk part" (the kanji means breasts not milk although people tend to call it that)
