It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. U-noa 1.5 Lusis and Sist pre-order info 2011

Jan 22, 2008

    1. I received my parts today! Yay! I just opened them up to examine them. All fit well except for the Sist and Lusis defaults. It took awhile but I got them to snap to the head back just fine.

I do have a concern though. The Sleeping/Dozing Lusis faceplate's eyewells don't look thick. Is this normal for the sleeping/dozing faceplates?

    2. there are two styles of sleeping faceplates!^ ^
one is with completely shut eyes and the other style is with semi open...You can cut the eyewells so a little bit of eyes can be visible from the slit or you can go further(as many people buy them for that reason) and sand\curve them to create your own original open-eye shape!..;)

    3. You should really give it a try. It's just like putting on makeup if you use brushes, pastel chalks, and pencils. My first face up came out AMAZING in my opinion, and now I paint all of my guys...

    4. Okay Aernath and Nytshaed here is my shabby faceup for my Lusis Dozing faceplate

I'll still send her out when I have the money to get her a professional one, this is only temporary for now and it comes off easy with Mr.Clean Magic Eraser:lol:

    5. umm what eye size does unoa take? TT 3 TT

    6. Depends on the brand (some brands are physically larger and and some brands have larger irises) and may depend on the mold. I think Lusis's eye openings are a bit smaller than Sist's.

I have seen 10mm, 11mm and 12mm used. I could be wrong but I think 10mm in Gumdrops, 11mm in Eyeco, Ginarolo I am not sure but she has some photos of Sist in her eye sale thread and they say what size. I believe the drilled Glastics that come with Unoa are 12mm. It depends.

    7. I currently have Dollmore 14mm acrylics in my modded madoromi B-el head because that's the smallest I have available at the moment. (I just bought some 12s, but it will be a little bit before they come in)
They physically fit in his eye sockets, but the iris pretty much fills up the eyes.
But then, my boy's eyes are pretty far closed. ;)

And characters? My pre-existing Bleach characters are one thing, but all the others were characters developed over time. They tell me a little more about themselves with each story. :) I'm finally getting around to paying attention to the "second string" guys that have been a part of my ranch for quite some time now. :sweat

    8. Yeh us with barely open madoromi mods have a hard time finding eyes that fit. I've had three pairs of eyes for mine...One 10 flat doll eyes that fit the best, One pair 12 "blind" eye glass that fit well, and one pair 12 blue acrylics which fit the worst. It's all about low domes on dozing mods.

    9. Oh crap! Now I'm hoping the 12s work. They're glass, but doubt that'll make that much difference.
Of course, now I've another excuse to troll the marketplace! :dance
      Looking for 10s... looking for 10s... ;)

    10. Don't give up on the 12's until you see them in his head, one of my boys problems is that I have to give him eyelashes or else he looks odd, so they tend to take up some of the light they would normally get.
      EDIT:
Heres a picture of the glass 12's without eyelashes and unfortunately flash @,@

    11. yeah, my sist is complete unoa ~ i got her in the last preorder. she fits perfectly in all three of my BC wigs and all of my boyfriend's BC wigs except one. The one that doesn't fit is because the bangs are too short and look dumb. Maybe your BC wigs are older than mine? Our have all been bought within the past 6-8 months or so.

    12. Gosh a year is a long time to wait!

      What's the difference between 1.5 and 2.0 ??

    13. 1.5 are the Lusis and Sist doll, which are MSD size.
2.0 are the Cream and Mocha doll, also MSD, but one has tanned skin and one doesnt, their body mold is more mature (like fashion dolls ;)) their feets are in highheels by the way... I'm considering of getting one if I cannot wait for the next 1.5 preorder....

I hope I'll be rich by the time it's the next 1.5 order :( should've entered the lottery...augh now I feel really regret

    14. does anyone know if latiblue boy clothes fit unoa boys properly?

    15. The latiblue boy that I saw was quite a bit bigger than my narin and Narin is the same size, only taller, than the Unoa boys. I know there are two different size lati blue boys, one is more "buff" than the other. LOL I'm not sure which one I had seen but he definitely is bigger than Unoa so I don't think his clothes would fit.

    16. The legs on the Lati Blue boys are longer and the chest is bigger...though I've only seen the muscular version in person.

    17. Just a heads up for others that might have been thinking along the same lines as I was...
The AoD resin has changed. It no longer matches unoa at all. It's now pink. :(
I was going to put my madoromi B-el head on an AoD body, but got the body today, and it's just way too pink.
It does, however, match Dollmore fairly well, so I'm just swapping bodies here.
My Dollmore head is now on the AoD body (and I blushed it to match fairly well), and the B-el head will be on the Dollmore body as soon as the headback comes in. :)
Now, I could have just blushed the B-el head to match as well, but he said he liked the DM body for himself better anyway.

So, anyway, long story short: AoD normal no longer matches unoa. :(

    18. Hmm, I'm not sure. I've never seen a Kaye headback, but as long as they have a hole at the base of their neck like the Unoas do, it should work.

    19. Okies, I said I might paint Blue up after exams and so I did! (Being my first proper faceup,) It's far from perfect but I'm happy enough with him for now~ (Interestingly enough he's one of the rare dolls I'm intending to have a very nude look...)

      (Some very quick pictures~: )
