1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. I've most recently encountered this with my stepmother, who collects Madame Alexander dolls (which are primarily female), and a long-haired boy I took to their place for a photoshoot. When she commented that "she's pretty," I replied, "he, actually, see? No tracts of land." She laughed and agreed that clearly made him a boy. No indecency required. :)

    3. I remember my grandma doing this with some off topic dolls of mine long time ago. I believe I just politely corrected her at the time. I also recently had this happen with one of my guys, and pretty much did the same in that case. As to why I bothered, it would've been hard to explain the story he's from if that misperception was kept up:XD:

I'm generally not bothered by it for the same reasons other posters have already stated. But I do get aggravated if they continue to keep up that assumption or are doing it with some malicious intent. I really can't stand homophobic and transphobic remarks and bigotry, so that will always get under my skin and make me furious:vein

    4. I dont care if people misgender my doll cause I know he's feminine.
The only time he was misgendered was when I sent a pic of him to a friend when I first got him, who doesn't know anything about the hobby and she said "oh shes cute!" to which I didn't bother correcting 'cause as I made him more clothes and send her pics, she realised it was a he not a she and still finds him cute haha :3nodding:
