Woo! Thank you Selmada, we just got the confirmed prices on the wee little dresses too - one thing though - I just noticed that someone placed an order and got charged a rather hefty amount for shipping -- if you're planning to order, maybe wait about an hour while I have the tech guy look over the cart glitch, so you won't be overcharged!
My dollzone order got to me, I must wait til Christmas for my wing, but I got the fox early and painted him up. He just has to be one of the cutest little things I have ever seen.
Eeek! I was hoping someone would start carrying these! What is the price you are asking for an outfit?
^_^ just look under the cart lol. Edited since not sure we're supposed to be posting prices here. Shipping is fixed now! ^_^
acexkeikai: Woaaaaaaaaaaa~ Kurama's awesome!!! Love the face-up!!! Yay!!! You've finally did lil Kurama!!! *squeee* Love what you did to the ears... ^_~`
Thank you LadyKnight... although I do see a lot of flaws in my makeup ::bows head:: and I really need to make Kurama a nice kimono... but I can't find any patterns anywhere that could help me... Might take me a while to figure that out.
I thought this bunny would look cool with the rest of my tinys ...and after the poor soul was wondering about in the post she arrived ..today and I LOVE her ...love the size love everything about her I also recieved the BC bunny baby today too ...what a crazy cute pair they are !
Tinybear...I have the little fox and yes he goes well with the BC bunny baby! They are so much fun....fox still needs a faceup!
Hey Lycansea, I feel your pain. My little bunny girl got dropped accidentally last month and suffered a bit of damage, which I was worried about because some of it came perilously close to her default faceup. However, with the help of a friend I purchased a sanding sponge from WalMart. Unfortunately, I have since tossed the packaging but I can tell you that you will find it in the paint section of Walmart. It's labeled "Fine 150" on one side and is a pliable, bendy sponge-like thing. It took off the surface doinks just fine, so I assume it would work very well on your fox's scratches!
I've found that a buffing file for nails, or fine grain nail file will also work to take out little nicks etc. Just use inside the of head cap to make sure it's okay and you have a fine enough grade. I'm waiting for my bunny. I just got in under the wire and it won't be here till Feb. or March. I don't mind though. It gives me something to get excited about.
Ok, time for a dumb DZ pet owner newb question..... How do I get the head off to change the eyes? It's really tight, and I can see stringing attached somewhat oddly to the headcap. I'm afraid I'll break my bun. Michelle
Well, Innana changed the eyes in a couple of the bunnies. Her words..... "with great difficulty" Best idea is not take the head off. The head has stringing coming up through the neck going to the ears on the headcap and it's a real bitch to try and undo all that. Pull the headcap up and back and try to get it to sit out of the way so you can access the inside of the head and change the eyes that way. You can push the eyes from the outside to get them to pop out and then comes the fun bit of getting the new ones in. I hope you have small fingers.
I'm afraid you are a bit late, the promotion ended on Christmas day. The only way to get one now is buy it on the secondhand market, though I believe some agents might be selling a couple of leftovers at some point.
aww I never knew about this promotion, I would really like a bunny. I hope they do it again sometime, maybe next year? or sell them seperately. ^_^
Sorry to hear that you didn't know about. We did do a thing in the news section when it started and they have been discussed on various Dollzone threads. I'm afraid that they won't be sold separately, though as I said, some agents may have some leftovers. I'd say that they'll be doing something different for next year.
