1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Uh oh - Dollzone Pet dolls 16cm

Oct 24, 2007

    1. well, I got my bunny unstrung, but not without snapping off the tab in her headcap >< I was literally yelling @!!#$!@!!%$%!! (I'm sure you can use your imagination:sweat) If I had thought it through, I would have started at the feet, and done the ears last....

at least there's the magnetic peg, so her head still stays on fine, but I'm really bummed about it :( I'm trying to be positive and say at least her eyes will be easier to adjust now, but it still makes me sad :(

I am by no means shy about restringing. In fact, I kind of enjoy it, and I remove heads on a regular basis to dress my dolls. Every doll I've ever had hasn't lasted a week without getting restrung. That said, I think that was just about the worst stringing experience I've ever had. Like.... I don't want to even attempt it with the bunny for a very long time >< The fox wasn't so bad. A little tricky, but I used some small crochet hooks as stringing tools, so th hardest part was getting those tiny little S hooks onto the string on his hands and feet. Next time I restring him, I'll borrow some pliers from my brother and open them up just a teeny bit more, so it's easier to string him. getting the string through the torso was a tad tricky, because of it being one piece, I'm used to two piece torsos, but it wasn't horribly hard.

completely unrelated to the above, what size eyes do the fox and bunny use? If you don't use default size, what size do you like for them?

    2. Kathrynmary: She has glass eyes from DZ: Here they are

      Meladori: My bunny uses 14mm size of eyes and I think it starts to look weird if it's any smaller or bigger than that ^^;

    3. SOoooo...

I ordered my DZ doll and got the special, but they were so back ordered at Featherfall from December 25th that I just got my Shoyo (Three months later)..

So is anyone in the same boat as me and still doesn't have their PetDoll??

    4. I think the pets should have 14mm eyes, but not having 14mm, I ended up using 16mm eyes. (shrugs) They work, but I had to remove the eye stems. I may switch to 14mm eyes when I find some that I like.

    5. glad to know that, since stupid me forgot to tell them which eyes i want, i got black, which is alright, but not my wish, so i'll have to order new eyes color for my fox.

    6. I feel the same way about my bunny lol

Default black actually works perfectly for my fox, but my bunny needs something lighter... either pink or maybe pale blue..... I haven't decided yet. Heck, I haven't even decided what to do for her faceup yet...

My fox's faceup is giving me issues too.... I originally had his entire head pasteled, and I really liked it, but now it's chipped all over and pretty awful looking due to the fact that he goes everywhere with me :( I don't want to take it off, but I need to do something....

    7. well...my girl is going alright...except a lack of name and what not, not bonding so well my with little fox, and i got 'no' reply from the person about a body swap either >.>

    8. Wow, it seems like the talk about the DZ bunnies as really died out. Is it because of the baby Pipos? I just received my DZ bunny today from a wonderful seller on ebay. I knew they were cute, but I had no idea they were THAT cute.

I would love to change the black eyes to pink, but after reading this thread and attempting to move the headcap to see how difficult it would be, I think I'll just wait. I bought her so my DH could try out his airbrushing skills & give her a face-up, but she is so cute without one.

Since DZ seems to be getting into the pets dolls, does anyone think they will ever come out with another version of the bunny?
