Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Unique resin casts- I've gotta see more!

    1. Ah its so rare that I get to see dolls cast in unique resin colours, types, and in unique ways. I rarely get to see artists that cast their dolls with clear or even sparkly resins or mixes between colours to create a completely unique combination altogether, but recently I've just been completely obsessed with the ones I've been seeing online. Does anyone else know creators or companies that do unique casts of their work? I'd love to see them!

    2. I know Cuarto (https://www.cuartosdolls.com/) has done a lot of unique resin colors with different opacity and glitter content in dragon dolls!

      I don't believe these dolls have been deemed on topic, but if you like tiny resin dolls with a ton of joints and removeable eyes and wigs that are sized for a dollhouse, Raysvet Dolls on Etsy has done clear and sparkly resins.

      I know I've seen others, but those are the first two that come to mind!

    3. Resinsoul offers custom colors and I've seen some people get crazy with their requests. Ones like this or this or this or this. They can even do transparent resin or transparent colored resin, though they can't do it in gradients and any that look that way are actually blushed.

    7. What about DollPamm? They currently have a deer girl called 'My Diva' where you can mix and match body parts of different colours.

I can think of two artists off the top of my head (all on Instagram): jj.doll.lab, who's done a lot of fantasy colors as well as some clear casts, faewoodsdolls, who's done a lot of fantasy colors, multi-colors, clear casts, resin tattoos, and even a clear doll with actual tree bark in it (Login • Instagram) (and who I forgot the username of when I was searching for these accounts last night, so thanks @Datsuki).

    9. You should check out Seed Arts, she does unique casts. Her BJD sculpt Wol has been cast in all kinds of unique combinations. Like this one, all that sparkle is in the resin. Her other small figures certainly show off various techniques of hand pouring one of a kind resin combos.

    10. Batchix did a few of their Clever Little elf guys in unique resin colors. Someone of the forum has one in a pink sparkly resin. I've read Impledoll does custom resin colors like Resin Soul.

    13. Tamikan Space has some really unusual colors for their dolls. The dolls are limited, but they've done a rainbow of color including translucent. (and maybe glitter/shimmer? I'm not sure if that's in the resin or paint)
